Not quite as cheap as prime day, but still a good discount on this litter, especially with subscribe and save.

Swapped to this from the breeder's choice and it's been great. Being flushable is a big bonus and clumps well as well as masking the smells.

  • Anyone tried this vs their eco (soy) litter? I'm currently using the eco litter and find it has a strong smell and is pretty dusty.

    • +1

This is quite dusty as well and the corn smell is quite present, though not unpleasant to me until the cats have their way. Not sure if the dustiness is avoidable for these eco litters as they will eventually break down

That said, it’s my fave of the compostable/flushable litters as it clumps well. Similar to minx (also corn-based) but a lot cheaper.

The soy one broke apart a lot when scooping out for me. Soy didn’t conceal smell as well as corn either.

      • Thanks! Sounds like I'll stick with my soy one for now as it masks the smells pretty well, just had a strong tofu/soy smell when i first pour it in. I don't have the issue of it breaking apart when scooping (maybe the scoop I use), so might be the best I can do!

        • +1

the corn one (orange) doesn't fall apart as their eco version (green). They are dusty when you pour them in, but don't track as much as a clay litter for example.

Have tried both. They're pretty similar. I don't notice the smell so much, they definitely work well to reduce the cat pee smell in the litter boxes. So much better than the paper / crystal type litters.

  • My go to for our rabbits has been OzPet, but their factory got destroyed in the floods. Anyone got a recommendation on a similar brand? Thanks

    • Catmate, have always used these wood pellet litters for my cats and it's great.

  • Any recommendations for picky pets (Chihuahua in my case)?

  • I thought the pic was for coffee beans! Cheap…

you could make some corn coffee

      • Almost did that once, with Spirulina into the grinder, as was storing beans in an empty sp container and it was a late previous night.

  • Wait for World's Best Cat Litter 6.5KG bags (also corn) to hit >$20

    • I've tried that one once. our cats track it everywhere through the house as the granules are quite small and get stuck in their paws. Went back to the Wee Kitty as the pellets are larger.

      • Haven't had that issue but I have one of those mats in front of the box that collects most of it. Does get a little dusty after a few weeks but not as much as others.

    • I switched from the Wee Kitty to this one and have had slightly better results with my cats.
