Not stocked in any Victorian Stores apparently. Dangit…

    • Thanks, saved me a drive. I rang the Epping (Vic) store but the phone options don’t include anything that seemed to be able to confirm floor stock. I was about to jump in the car to check.

      • Thanks, saved me a trip!

    • I swear I have seen this and the bigger dewalt combos at epping and docklands…

      • They definitely have dewalt kits there, but not this price and I don't think this particular kit, they come with a hard case IIRC rather than the bag. (Was there yesterday)

wondering if i can refund the one i bought about half year ago and get this one.

Make sure it comes up at the right price at the register. Often these manager's specials don't. Experienced it before at Ipswich. Helps to take a picture of the sign.

  • Any stock in NSW stores?

These are basic Dewalt tools, ideally for DIY.

      What do the pro's use?

      • Makita, Milwaukee

      • +2

Well, they do use DeWalt and Milwaukee and Makita and Ryobi and…. but generally the more powerful/rugged/expensive ones. These, for example, are brushed - not brushless. It's a good price but the tools are more for occasional use.

FWIW Tradie here - I use DeWalt and would consider getting this kit for the two 4ah batteries that currently cost about $140 each at Bunnings. The drills I'd either give away, keep as emergency backups, or just use until they lost power and/or started to smoke.

        • Thanks guys

my tools get used for DIY but even i don’t buy brushed anymore ….

Dewalt, brushless. But these models from Costco are basic and not brushless, low tier and ideally for DIY.

    That's a great price

Thats a clear make down by a manager. So i wouldn't expect this price at other store

  • nice

  • Anyone in the Ipswich Qld area (with a Costco membership) willing to pick one up and post it to me in Vic? Happy to pay for postage, packing and a (reasonable :)) finder's fee.

    • Yeah I can do that for you

      • Hi AJM,
Please pm me, I want to order one as well if possible, I live in Victoria

      • Hey, looks like I'm too slow but thanks for the offer, appreciate it.

  • Specific texta sign off as depicted on the price tag is specific to this warehouse not Australia wide. Running out old/model generally

  • Wish there was the same deal in Sydney

BTW - what's the difference between the DCK2533M2 and DCK2533M2-XE sets?

  • Does anyone know if there is any left? Would like to pick one up tomorrow after work.

    • Same would like to know

  • awesome….

  • Bugger, I bought the $249 Brushless combo from Bundamba store a few months ago. This is a better deal given the battery size IMO. Sure mine are Brushless but for 100 bux less I'd have gone this combo instead…

    • dewalt are transitioning their battery tech to “ power stack” for 18v which are flat cells like in a mobile phone instead of cyclinders shaped …it’s why bunnings was doing the 2x5amp batteries for $159 …..

  • Out of stock now. I got the last one, box opened but all items still inside. The supervisor was surprised that there are one left lol. Thanks OP!

    • They've been trying to clear these for ages. Well done getting one at a great price. :D
