Have this, love it. Bought one for my family. Relatively easy to clean

  • Is this one the same like the Nespresso one, too much milk foam?

    • No. Mech better product in my experience. YMMV

  • I have one, use it daily - is great and doesn't overfoam the milk.

These are also available at OW for those looking to pricematch

    • I am using the Nespresso one, I need to spin it for a min and use a spoon to filter out the foam.

Nespresso Creatista did a very good job with the milk but the machine is a bit too expensive.

  • This or the breville is best - anyone compared / tried both?

I've had both.Breville the Milk Cafe Milk Frother ($179 now)and this one.
This one is smaller which is great for taking away on holidays. Had 2 of them , did a great job of frothing milk but only one temp for hot ( too hot for me). Both of these lasted around a year ( but didn't keep receipts).
The breville one has a much bigger milk jug. Not as good to take on holidays as bigger. The breville is about double the price and will froth about double the milk. Breville's big advantages are you can dial up the temperature accurately , so for cappuccino I use about 65 degrees( personal choice) or much hotter when making hot chocolate. The other real advantage of breville is despite it costing more than double the lavazza it has lasted me around 18 or 19 years and still going strong.
Both have stainless steel jugs that are dishwasher safe and unlike the aldi and nespresso ones there isn't that horrible non-stick coating that perishes and then becomes challenging to clean. To clean these jugs it's usually just requires a rinse with cold water( great for hotel rooms).

  • sorry to be a scrooge, wern't these like $49.99 not too long ago, however this is best you can get and still worth it.

    • The first cost me under $50 when woolies sold them and second one cost about $70-75.

      • Why did you go through 2? They don’t last?

        • Would just stop working. No idea what the problem was with them . Did a good job ,albeit very hot milk , but wouldn't last even a year.
