Comes in an i7-1255U flavour as well for $60 more, though frankly you'd be pretty daft to get it (and a much worse screen).

    No thanks, still having PTSD.

      Theyre monitoring the situation…

      • what's wrong with dell's laptop?

  • If you choose to upgrade to 1TB, for an extra $60 then for some reason the screen brightness drops from 300 nits to 250 nits.
Otherwise an extra $60 is pretty good for almost doubling the SSD size.

Unfortunately you are not going get much battery mileage out of a 54wh battery with the i7 1260p. The 4P cores only perform at 64w TDP, which generates heat and uses more battery. Note the 1255u only has 2P cores. E cores are only useful if the application is aware of them otherwise they can create a performance regression.

This is a better deal if you don't need a 16" screen

More power efficient 8 performance core Ryzen CPU
    Much better iGPU for gaming
    Higher resolution 2.2k screen
    Bigger battery
    2 year onsite warranty

as the person that posted both deals, I'm much inclined to agree :)
just thought it'd be nice if people had options/saw something they might want in any case

Your Lenovo post was a good find!

  • I got the Inspiron 16 2in1 (4k OLED). 1260P. The performance is quite underwhelming, especially on battery. I have never seen task manager at 100% cpu, it seems to throttle down endlessly (even if the cpu isn’t >90C). Battery life is poor, 4 hours surfing the web, basic work. Only has one fan for a hot CPU and a (crappy) GPU. Speakers are shocking. Plays GTAV at 720P low settings, at around 40FPS. If I had my time again I would probably get a MacBook Air instead for the silence and better battery. Or save for longer and go XPS.

    • That's disappointing. I was looking at getting one.

  • I’m here to see Muzeeb.
