    I had the older version of this, it is a very badly designed product. I had opened it up, maintained and repaired etc.. They make it really hard to clean, maintain and repair. The fans inside were basically uncleanable. Will never recommend any Dyson product other than their Vacuum Cleaners (which made me want to try their other products). Earlier they used to advertise their fans as air coolers, which was misleading. This one is basically an expensive fan, perhaps better off buying a cheap air purifier on its own because it does not really clean much, except pulls a bit of dust flying around it.

      Yes same for me. I got one of the early fan heaters (on the strength of their vacuums) and it's no better than anything else.

      If you want a 'purifier' put furnace filter sheets on top of your split reverse cycle air con (if you have them).
