Lightning deal ends in 7-ish hours. 250 deal coupons available. Deal was live from 4am but surprised no one has posted (I just woke up)

Cheapest ever according to 3x Camels

Usually $20 at ColesWorth, $10 when half price - so just over 70% off here. A very rare discount…

Enjoy :)

    (LINDT) Balls, missed out.

  • Regular price $10

    • +2

RRP is $20. for Amazon, Coles and Woolworths.

    • Regular price is showing $10 because they currently on sale atm (Amazon is probably price matching someone)

  • Missed out on balls!

    • Get the real balls them. These are soft balls.

    • The day is young. PM me.

      • That’s a bit creepy!

  • OOS

  • weird, it wanted to take all my promo credit $10, had to disable it then paid the $5.60

    • +1

It wouldn't take the whole credit. The difference between the normal price ($10) and the lightning deal counts as promotional discounts too, and adds onto the credit. So it seems like it would have taken out $10 or so, but technically it will only take $5.60 off your promo credit balance

      • +1

Okay thanks, good to know for next time.

    • That's what I did and used GC. I think you would have lost $10 if you'd paid by promo code.

      • Incorrect. See my comment here. I just confirmed with customer support when I enquired the breakdown of the transaction.

        • Did you check your promo balance after?

          • @ihbh: I only had $5 credit, promotion discounts said $9.40. Remaining 60c charged through Gift Card

            Breakdown of my transaction:
$9.40 promotion discounts ($5 promo credit + $4.40 lightning deal difference)
            $0.60 gift card

Transaction total excluding lightning deal = $10
After lightning deal discount applied = $5.60

            Total charged: $5.60

    No waitlist for me!

    • What waitlist?

    • -1

Waitlist only shows on web browser, not app. Assuming that is your issue.

      • Tried that too. Nope!

  • Went on the waitlist and it paid off lol

  • Showing 100% claimed

  • Milk Chocolate Balls 333g $5.60 (Was $20)

Wow, a moment of silence for people that got it for full rrp.

  • Jeff Bezos has no balls!

  • Received a notification from the app 30 minutes after they were back in stock so obviously lost out again.

  • Is waitlist only available for prime members? I can’t see the option, do I need more coffee?

    • Nah no waitlist option for prime too - unless I need coffee too

Are you on mobile? only shows on desktop for me

      • Mobile no, desktop yes

  • +1

Why is it that the 70% dark version tastes a million times better, but it doesn't come in big packs like this?

  • C’mon can someone drop the balls please? You don’t want a dozen of them. I found finally the waitlist on the iPad. Not showing on iPhone browser and app.

I used to like these until I realised how much vegetable fat (e.g. palm oil) they put in them. There is more vegatable fat than cocoa butter and sugar. Plain lindt chocolate doesn't have vegetable oil, just the one with soft fillings.
    https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/palm-oil-the-hidden-surp…

    • There is palm oil in everything nowadays, but you never know which particular foods contain it, because they all use the generic term "vegetable oil". Most likely they use the cheapest available oil, which is often palm oil. The lack of integrity of food manufacturers across the board is shocking. Recent studies have demonstrated palm oil increases the risk of metastatic cancer (compared to other vegetable oils like olive oil, which do not). I'm going on a complete boycott of any food that states "vegetable oil" in the ingredients.

      • I actually already have metastatic bowel cancer so that part doesnt bother me! But I do have kids, so best to keep everything in moderation!

Whittakers and Darrell Lea are palm oil free..

    Update:
Contacted customer service via Amazon app
I: why waitlist is not available
Rep: may be due to some technical issues
I: I want four of these boxes?
Rep: no problem, issuing you $20 credit to order at regular price ($10).
    I: ordered

    • It might be expired at the end and you get them all for free. I experienced that with others chocolates not long ago.

    • +1

Sounds like you connected to Muzeeb!

      • Nah some Lin dude

  • Had bought like 13 of these just 3 days ago dude, as gifts for people so pissed of missing out :(.

    • +1

you would only be able to get 1 here anyway :)

      • Yeah even on the other day, amazon had limited me to buy only 6 of 1 flavor. So had to get two different flavors 10, on one day and other on next day.

Could have gone to somewhere to price match it @ $3 something or $4 though.

  • What is the expiry on these

  • Is there another brand that compares with lindt, quality and taste wise?
