Jura E6 Coffee Machine (Platinum) - $1075.50 Delivered @ David Jones

80

Looks like this coffee machine is back in stock at DJ.

It's a little confusing whether this is a superseded model, seems like there are two Jura E6 models sold concurrently.
The improved model seems new to Australia, but sold overseas for a couple of years now.

Please see below comparison between the two.
https://au.jura.com/en/pages/shop/product-comparison?catalog…

Looks like a better spec E6 model has improved grinder, powder chute, slightly different TFT screen and different button layout.
It's also significantly more expensive when compared to this DJ deal.
Enjoy :)

my roommate found a jura coffee machine on the side of the road in one of the more affluent suburbs of adelaide. took it home, cleaned it out, works like a charm.

in saying that, for the price, it's not that impressive.

    • One of the technicians explained how the super automatic machines work internally, it's all built to a price (even though they're super expensive)

The worm drive for the tamper is not that strong, meaning if you tamp with the correct force it may break the plastic eventually. Sounds like a worse compromise than a manual machine

Looks like the one on sale at DJ's is the older version (going by the pictures) which maybe the reason it's on sale? Newer version seems to have better specs.

  • Seems like its over
