        • Hey Rakibul, If you are eligible, you will receive a $100 Woolworths Store Bonus eGift Card by email up to 90-120 days after successfully activating your service.

          • @Manyo: 90-120 days? Why so long?

            • @RocketToSpace: Hey mate as customers need to remain with the new retailer for a min of 30 days and connection times vary we need to ensure we have confirmation of your successful switch. Where possible we try to provide the gift cards as early as possible

  • Any deals for Opticomm services?

  • Eligable for new connections after moving homes?

Customers who acquired an NBN connection from any retailer through Econnex Comparison within the previous 6 months will not be eligible for this promotion.

    @Manyo

I signed up previously to Superloop with an activation date of 27/05. But I signed up via Econnex on 29/04. I would like to churn to Exetel when my 6 months with Superloop is up on 27/11. Am I eligible for this promotion?

    • Hey CVonC, your connection date will be 27-11, While our promo says the activation date should be up till 15th Nov, unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer.

No worries, we would be bringing more offers soon.

      • Hey, will I get gift card I switch to More on their Commonwealth bank offer?

        • +1

Hey Sidor, yes you will be eligible for the gift card if you switch your connection to more telecom, as the Commonwealth bank offer is from the retailer itself.

  • Any recommendation for HFC router around guys?

  • Silly question as I am not a techie. Just wondering if churning between NBN providers is seamless like changing energy providers ie the service will just switch over without having to reconfigure the modem or NBN black box.

    • Hey naruto128, if you are churning between NBN providers, you need to make sure your modem is unlocked, if it is locked, then you might not be able to reconfigure your modem or else need to buy a new modem.

If your modem is unlocked, then you will receive an email from the retailer about how to reconfigure settings, a few simple steps and you will be good to go.

    • Depending on what modem you have and the provider, there’s a chance you will have to but it’s not difficult, it’s just normally at worst plugging a ethernet cable into the modem, connecting to the IP address printed on the bottom or in the manual, and then changing the isp settings.

      • Thanks heaps.

    • There are no settings for you to reconfigure on the NBN NTD box.

Swapping between ISPs that use IPoE is seamless and no router settings need to be reconfigured. Swapping between an ISP that uses IPoE to an ISP that uses PPPoE (username & password) or vice versa you need to be update your router settings. Who is your ISP and who are you changing to?

  • any incentive for switching Electricity and Gas?

    • Hey mate, this offer is for NBN only, we will be bringing offers on Electricity and Gas soon.

      Keep your eye out!

  • can I still get this offer if I am not moving house?

    • Hey U30004, can you please confirm, when was the last time you avail an offer with Econnex?

As per our terms and conditions, customers who acquired an NBN connection from any retailer through Econnex Comparison within the previous 6 months will not be eligible for this promotion.

      • I haven't availed anything on NBN. Did get a gas deal last year

        • +1

U30004, then yes you will be eligible for this deal, Electricity and gas offers have different terms and conditions.

  • I was with Superloop a couple of months ago, but wasn't connected through Econnex.
Will I still be eligible for gift card?

    • Hey alterego13, If you upgrade to superloop only through Econnex, you will not be eligible for the offer given by the retailer, you will also not be eligible for this gift card.

If you switch/ choose any other above-mentioned retailers, then you will be eligible for the gift card.

      • Ok, let's rephrase.
I was with Superloop until 17th September. Right now I am with AussieBB.
Does your answer still remain the same? Superloop term/conditions doesnt say 'new customers' only.

        • +1

Hey mate, If you sign up through Econnex, you will be eligible for the gift card, as for Superloop, you may or may not get the superloop benefits, as that is the retailer's discretion.

          • @Manyo: Thanks for the reply. Just signed up with Exetel.

  • Any experience with Exetel? We are currently with superloop (6 month promo is ending) and looking to make the switch. Superloop has been great.

    • +1

ive had no issues with exetel. just remember you will need to configure a u/pwd on the router to use the exetel service which can sometimes catch people out.

  • Looking to sign up with Exetel and it says : I am aware that this is an exclusive CommBank customer special offer. I confirm that I am an active CommBank customer and have provided my CommBank credit or debit card to complete this order.

What is this for? and What if I am not a commbank customer?

    • Hey saintpotter, a CommBank credit or debit card is required only if you switch to More telecom, as there is a retailer's offer for commbank customers, and you will also receive a $100 gift card as part of this promotional offer.

If you are not a CommBank customer, you still be eligible for a $100 gift card, if you switch/ choose any other above-mentioned retailers.

  • +1

Just be aware I signed up for Exetel through Econnex more than 2 months now, but the gift card never came.

    • Hey mate, according to our terms and conditions, If you are eligible, Econnex Comparison will provide you with a $100 Woolworths Store Bonus eGift Card by email up to 90-120 days after you have successfully activated your service.

Just to clarify more, 90-120 days from your activation date, for example, if you sign up on 10th Nov, you will receive your gift card after 90-120 days starting from 10th Nov, not the signup date.

If you have not received your gift card within 90-120 days, please contact the Econnex Comparison on 18000 13000 or e-mail us at [email protected]
