Looks to be a decent deal with most places selling one of these or something similar (sizes vary) for about the same price as the two here. Only some of the colour combos are available. Generally good reviews on Costco's website but a couple have said it doesn't keep things warm for a long time. I generally finish my hot drinks pretty fast so I don't usually worry about things not keeping warm for ages. If I do, I normally go with a different kind of flask.

I'd jump on this if we didn't have a cupboard full of these sorts of things already. They do look nicer than the ones we have. Wife complains about cleaning the inside of the lid of these Contigo mugs. Doesn't look like much has changed in the Luxe version.

    thanks. contigo says they're fully dishwasher safe so getting these to be mistreated.

    find myself never using the zojirushi because they're a pita to clean

      I'm not going to go into the whole dishwasher safe thing as it can cause a bit of a stir. We are very sceptical about these sorts of claims so we generally hand wash a lot of stuff. I guess if we were using these every day it would be a real pain.

      After reading some reviews on Amazon, some are saying the coating does chip/peel off. Some are saying to get the stainless steel version only. I guess if you have some issues you can always take it back to Costco.

    I actually find cleaning these a lot easier than other mugs that seal. Dishwasher safe and the lid is not terrible to hand wash if you need to.

      It took us a while before we discovered you can press something inside the lid to open it up properly for a good clean. I think it's fine to clean. My wife is just very particular with cleaning…

    Edit: don’t have this specific model. But it is pretty good when I was going to the office daily

    Just be careful if you haven't had contigo before. I have several sets of a previous model and they can still burn your mouth after an hour. I pre-heat mine before a trip and they do stay hot

    I daily use the stainless steel version and according to my experinece

    -keeps drink hot for very long time
    -easy to clean , dishwasher safe
    -The inside lid part attached to spring can come out for better cleaning
    -Spill proof
    -Safety lock at ld works well to avoid accidental spill
    -No negatives yet

      you really don't need a handle, because you push the button in to open the outlet to drink no spill if dropped

        It's more to hold onto without dropping the cup whilst holding onto other things
