$22 del for 1 slab of the small cans, deal killer really for anyone outside of Vic. Local deal only.

    What's this taste like?
Oat cream beer sounds absolutely disgusting, but it might work.

For over $100 for a slab of small cans, I don't want to risk being disappointed unfortunately.

Its a popular style - adding a variety of grains (in this case some oats) is popular for many beers and this also adds lactose (milk sugar, hence "cream").

Wait what? This beer has lactose? If I wanted to shit myself I'd drink hammer and tongs.

      • Oh geeez, you made it sound even more disgusting. Why corem, for the love of beer why?

        • +2

lol, its just malt and sugar. Just stick to XXXX gold and you should be right

If youre familiar with Hazy IPAs or pale ales, then this is basically in the same category. Maybe a bit smoother drinking (due to using oats), and a bit sweeter (due to lactose).

  • looking for a beer that will be a 2'n'done for a weekday. not my go-to style by any means but hopefully with hit the spot for a mid weeker with something that's still interesting to drink - I reckon these will do it!

no way you could session these beers, which is kinda what I'm after too, good on ya bad shepherd!
