Monitor for Gaming and Movie

Looking for advice,
I am looking to buy a monitor that can be use for gaming 1440p and watch movie.

So the problem is:
The distance between my desk with my couch when we do wanna watch movie/Netflix is around 2m.
Looking around 32in but not sure if I should go with the curve ones or the normal flat ones as distance between the monitor and when sitting on the couch is to far as well as the angle might not be able to see properly.

Any recommendations? Looking around $500ish, being an ozb cheaper would def better

VX3276-2k would do you fine for your budget but 32" is too small to sit 2m away.

    You'll want a 55-65" TV for that.

  • A curve is only necessary when you have a ultrawide monitor like 35 inch 21:9.

A 32inch monitor is going to be standard aspect ratio (16:9), and the curve will probably make screen sharing difficult between 2 people.

At a sitting distance of 2 meters, you should buy a TV instead, possibly in the 40+inch range. Obviously the bigger you go the pricier the TV gets and the less likely you're going to be able to use it as a regular PC monitor when working up close.

  • Price 5X more @ $2600….. Comments on this good or bad.

  • I'm afraid your budget is not enough for what you are looking for. You'll need a budget of at least 1K

  • 42 inch OLED would be perfect for this distance. But way above your budget.

  • Not going to find an ideal solution for both use cases in one screen and on the cheap…
