expired $299 Xbox 360 4GB+320GB HDD+Kinect+Lego Star Wars 3+Kinect Adventure&Sports+3 Month Xbox Live Gold from Kmart
This was posted 11 months 1 day ago, and might be an out-dated deal
pretty much as it says in the title.
Looks like there was a glitch on Kmart online and it went live today by mistake. They have fixed it now.
Starts next Thursday 28th of June.

Lol same thing happens everytime they have a good console sale..those that miss out say regular price will drop…it never does..and the next time another sale comes up..they're the first to jump on…THIS IS A GREAT price! Especially with the extra 320gb HDD. If I didn't already own one..i'd buy one.
If you want to wait for a "price drop" …you may..but next price drop will likey just be another sale..lol.

JB and HN were both selling the 4GB console (without Kinect) last year for $148-9. PS3 160GB was $232 delivered from Big W in February. Obviously the prices returned to normal after the sales finished but thankfully a price war breaks out between the retailers every couple of months.

What's the cheapest deal posted on OzB for just the Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle?
Just want to know if I should buy this bundle and sell off the hard drive, game and Live subscription.
googolplex on 21/06/2012 - 15:13 ¶Good deal if you're going to use the hard drive I guess.
But it will just be a waste of money for me as I have no need for it.Just remembered that DSE the Xbox 360 and Kinect deal for $199 not too long ago.
Hopefully DSE or another retailer can revive that deal.

Wow, don't need a 360 as I've just loaded up on games for my PS3 from Game's sale (not that I've received any of them yet), but this is getting tempting as I have an HDMI cable in the cabinet that's itching to be connected to something!
Have far too much to play at the moment and I never get any time to so not sure why I'd need it - unless it's just to ready myself with hardware for the release of Halo 4 and Forza 4…
Is the hard drive necessary at all for games - ie. if you have it does the game load more onto the drive to speed up load times etc?
+1 voteMadTacoWarrior on 21/06/2012 - 17:36 ¶If you install games onto the hard drive, they load much quicker and your DVD drive will last much longer as it won't be reading all the time. Because your DVD isn't running as often, it's quiet, too.
For games like Forza 4, a hard drive is required to correctly show at unique, player-painted, and second disk cars. Without a hard drive or an external drive, they will all look the same. Many cars will look the same because the game cannot access the data. Because you have no hard/external drive, you won't be able to drive Porsche as you would have no space to download the DLC.

werribee has lots apparently, picked one up today.
possibly others. I phoned around & got lucky on my first call. you will need to ask at the layby counter for this bundle there though.Appears to be a trinity model not the newer corona unless they have a mixed shipment.

UPDATE****
JUST GOT MINE TODAY!
and it wont sync!
i have this issue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YC7E2uaBUQ
i have managed to sync for a few minutes and then its dead.. tried 3 controllers wired and wireless..
FKING HELL!!!!!!

Mine works perfectly fine :S
Have you had yours modified?
I just turned my 360 on from the 360's power button
The display from the slims screen comes up with a picture of the controller saying to hit the guide button.I stuck the batteries in & pressed the guide button & it has worked ever since.
never touched the sync button on the controller or on the slim (did on the fat controller with the fat)maybe try pulling the battery pack out of the controller, unplug the power brick from the wall AND the console for a few minutes, & try as I did above?
or unplug all power (battery pack from the pad & power brick from the wall) & cable from the 360 back, plug everything in, turn the 360 on from the console, hit the sync button on the console then turn the pad on & hit its sync button.
If that doesn't fix doesn't work then i guess it will need a direct replacement from the store (if you haven't already done so)
mine did sync without pressing either button but was probably initiated by the first boot screen so I never had to touch it (the console was never opened & had full factory wrapping & sealing around it)
Also is much more quiet compared to the fat including the dvd-rom it doesn't sound like a jet any more.
I do remember having an issue like the one in the video with the fat but pulling the power brick & ridding the console & the brick +/- pad of all power before plugging back in did work & kept working, it may happen with power loss I used to unplug mine when not in use before i got a new pureav setup, keeping it plugged into the back of the 360 seems to keep it in the same state even when unplugged at the wall, unplugging from the 360 appears to clear it.
If you don't already have one perhaps a surge board or ups with good emi+rfi filtering (better deals around online than paying double retail) wouldn't hurt in the event of brownouts, blackouts, surges, fridge/freezer/washing machine/dryer motors becoming active, other noise in the line etc.
