I know..I know….they are inkjets…and companies make money from sellings cartridges. BUT it has got a scanner too….and it's wireless…so IMO it's good for 9 bucks..

The specs don't really say that it's wireless…but i received an email from DELL showing the same price and photo of the printer…and it says it has an built-in 802.11 b/g/n wireless printing. So not sure about that.

EDIT : Those who don't beleive me…check this out : https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bxkv5bFG68uYRFFDNTZ4Yzh0QVk

    • Toll. They will send you a text asking you to choose between 2 delivery dates.

      • thanks!

      • It actually depends on your location, they use a variety of courier companies, Toll, TNT, DB schenker, Ross Freight, Australia Post, Australian Air Express, Star Track etc.

It also depends on what warehouse its sent from, they have a couple in Sydney and Melbourne.

  • I feel sorry for whoever made and shipped these things

  • Doesn't work any more…

"Due to technical difficulties, we are unable to process your request at this time."

OFFICIALLY OZBARGAINED! Good Work Guys ;)

  • I placed the order….fantastic….$9 include delivery!!!! Thanks.

  • This is the first time I've seen a deal that has been ozbargained but can last so long …lolz. I wonder how many printers that Dell had and how many thousands of them has been sold tonight?

  • Those poor Dell workers now have to process and ship these printers :).

    • +3

By process you mean slap the connote on the box and place it in the dispatch area, im sure they will really hate that.

  • WITH ONLY $9!! Nothing could go wrong. Thumbs up!

  • I wonder what Dell employees have in mind tomorrow when they see a sudden huge lot of orders need to be fulfilled.. lol

  • I'm sure they have enough stock to cover up orders, just send back the stock from the actual stores.

  • They probably had an entire warehouse full and are now happy to be rid of them.

  • sold out?

  • lol this is an awesome deal.

The same money for a subway meal gets you a scanner/printer ???….haha

  • "Due to technical difficulties, we are unable to process your request at this time."

    • Simple difficulties aren't as bad as the technical ones.

  • That usually means, to many people are on there server… Better least site didn't crash lol

  • +1

Crickey, we killed the deal! I'm surprised the DELL site didn't collapse with the massive server load it was getting raped with.

    • +1

Hopefully they were using some of their good servers and load balancers..

  • +2

Screw buying ink! Just buy printers!

    • +11

Screw wireless! Just buy a printer for every room!

Try again in the morning, sometimes Dell does site maintenance at night.

When you guys are ordering online the orders are randomly going to different sales reps and printers equals good bonus for them!

  • +1

Lol got it for myself and about 4 more friends got it. Muchly appreciated

  • Stupid server, is down lol

  • +1

For those that missed out on this but still want to get in on some discounted Dell printer love, Dell currently have their V715W wireless multifunction for $65. http://accessories.ap.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=au&c…
It seems to have mixed reviews, but possibly still a reasonable price? Not quite the cost-of-a-sandwich impulse buy that this deal was though.

    • +6

Get out of here with your over $9 deals! Who do you think we are!?

  • +19

Hi, I'm the Australian Dell printer products manager.

Thanks to you all for taking up this deal. We were discussing how to reduce the cost of sending these remainders to landfill when one of my junior staff suggested lowering the price so that it would get OzBargained. This has solved our disposal problem. We are most gratified. Thanks again to you and to OzBargain.

    Sellmore Eink, PPM

Just kidding of course, I have nothing to do with Dell.

    • You had me for a second there. But I think there may be some truth to this story of yours.

  • Now these printers are all over eBay….

    • +3

…and bozos will still buy them for 3x-4x the price and encourage/propogate this profiteering.

  • How the hell did I miss out on this deal? I check ozbargain like 20 times a day >.<

  • +3

OP, do you really think it's polite to publish that Dell rep's email address? You removed your own email address in the attachment, please show the same courtesy to the Dell employee.

  • +3

Here you go, people bought this, take out the ink and usb cable, then resell it for triple the price on ebay
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-DELL-V313-ALL-ONE-PRINTER-COP…

    • +4

What a scum. The seller was even generous enough to steal the ink and cable before chucking it on ebay. "less for more" is a fitting business motto I think.

    • +1

tempted to buy it and then leave neg feedback exposing the sellers' practices

      • +1

but then you will get a NPB strike against your account!

        • create a new acc and leave a neg feedback
          :)

    • Looking into the ebay posting I think the seller is in big trouble..the seller is selling the V313 version but the photos showed are the V313W version ..if the seller is selling the printer from this Dell Deal then the printer is not wireless as opposed to what they have shown in their posting on ebay.. !! thats what they say you should be intelligent enough to cheat !!

      • Well that is one sure way to expose the seller for his dodgy activities(with bad feedback), whilst getting out of the transaction legally at the same time. Very observant of you. But meh, I don't have time and CBF to do anything about it, just annoys me.

      • "Any stock pictures have not been checked against the actual item" from description

  • I ordered mine on Friday but only received a Dell Order Acknowledgement email. Since then, nothing. Did you guys receive the confirmation mail immediately after?

    • I did. No idea on a time frame of delivery though.
EDIT: Mine is to be expected to arrive tomorrow, but its still in "Work in progress" status…

      • Click on your hyperlinked order number on the Recent Orders page, that will give you the real details! :)

  • Mine is now in 'work in progress;

  • +4

They delivered a printer cable instead of a printer for me!?

    • Oh my god. I just check the order confirmation email and found it actually stated as "724-10210 Z- 3m USB Cable -S&P", no where mentioning "printer"! What should we do?

      • Go to http://www.dell.com.au/status and enter your "order number" and "customer number" and then click on "what is included with this offer".

This will show you what Dell thinks you should get.

      • LOL

    • I remember on the order page, it was somewhat tricky in that there was an "add cart" button on the right hand side of the page that added a $9 USB cable to your order, whereas you had to press the "choose" button just below the picture of the printer to actually order the printer. I pressed the wrong button when I first made the order.

      • Yes, I remembered it too.
I added the cable accidentally, then I realised during checkout it was a cable instead of printer.
I looked back at the page, the add to cart button for the printer is somewhere at the bottom instead of on the top right where the USB cable is.

    • +4

Sorry, but that's just too funny, I had to laugh hahaha

    • Well at least you'll never have to worry about replacing the toner in the USB cable.

  • Anyone retained a screen shot of the sale page? I want to argue with DELL, but currently no ground of arguing, i have no proof that i purchased a "printer".

  • I guess this is what happened: it was a printer at the beginning and at some stage they found all these traffic and quietly switched the item number in the order system to a usb cable, thus everything still looks the same when you order but in the confirmation email and invoice, it is just for a usb cable. My friend ordered one minutes before me and it is a printer in her order confirmation/invoice.

I have called DELL and they will arrange a pickup and refund, and someone will call me back regarding ordering a printer. But i don't think i can get the printer with $20 off :(

    • do you remember if you press add to cart when you go to purchase the printer?

  • RAGGEEE

  • +1

I am sorry but LOL @ being sent a cable, very cheeky Dell haha

Dont you have your original order confirmation email showing what you ordered when you placed the original order? The printer should be listed there. You usually get 2 emails sent 1 after you order and 1 after you pay

  • Anyone has received the printer instead of 3M cable ?

Mine ALWAYS shows " work in progress", and EDD is tomorrow

    • +1

I got a printer AND a separate box with a cable in it.

      • thanks StewBalls

        • No prob, they're probably flooded with orders & shipping boxes willy-nilly ATM.

I was kinda surprised that they bothered putting a USB cable in a separate shoe-box sized package though! ;)

  • I don't think they're substituting cables for printers.

When you went to the link, the most obvious "add to cart" button was on hte right side of the page, and added… a printer cable. Not a printer.

You had to look at the description for it to say "cable" afterwards, otherwise it looked like a printer. I think it's just some dodgy page design happening here. I actually had 2 cables in my cart before I realised and swapped them for printers.

    • +1

When I ordered it added the printer cable automatically.

  • Mine came today
    With an additional printer cable

  • @those that have received the printer

How may clicks was the deal at when you ordered? I want to have a rough idea whether my (to be delivered) order will be a printer+cable or a usb cable only.

@those that have received the cable only

As others that received the printer+cable have said, their orders came in 2 boxes; so could it be that only 1 box has arrived first because they were shipped in separate lots? Does the sticker on the box say '1 of 2' or '2 of 2' Most online shops do this to make handling large orders with bulky item easier, but not necessarily manageable.

    • Does the sticker on the box say '1 of 2' or '2 of 2'

      As per my above post,
it did come in 2 boxes,
1 separate box for the printer and another for the cable
The Printer is Box 1 of 2 and the cable is Box 2 of 2.

Oh, and i'm not sure when I ordered it, it was pretty early though(within 10 mins)

      • Thanks for that. I guess all I can say to those that only have the cable atm is be patient & give it another 1-2days & see if the printer arrives.

I ordered at around ~2000 clicks/6:30pm & my order confirmation has the printer listed in the inclusions, so I guess it should be alright.

  • I think i probably clicked the right button, which actually added a USB cable :( For those wanting to confirm what you will get, you can check what's in your confirmation email.

  • Estimated delivery time for me is now 6/07/2012.

  • Yesterday i checked my EDD and it was showing 27/6 ..checked it again today and it is showing as 6/7..i think they have run out of spare parts..dell work on order to build process..they will not stock anything and will start making the pc/printer whenever they get the order..this time i think they underestimated the ozbargainer's power !!!

we can bring down any system !!

  • delay for no cable?

  • Checked my status as well. New delivery date is 6 July as well.

  • +4

Hahaha, wonder if this shipping delay is going to disrupt the plans of those Brodens who put theirs on auction on eBay. :)

    • +1

They can just copy & paste the delay emails! :p

    • +4

Would be more hilarious if they accidently bought printer cables instead of the printers :)

  • Mine turned up today… no idea what I am going to do with it haha, but it was only $9

  • Mine says EDD for tomorrow and still in work in progress….

  • +1

So am i the only one got a usb cable? Feel so bad about myself :(
