I have a 50" eco TV for mum and have firestick on it, so that solves a lot of problems. But ya TCL should be good.

It's their main TV brand so if they were to get a return it would probably be an EKO.
I wonder how many are bought just before a big game and returned within 90 days.
Ya people return for silly reasons. I saw a chick return a dyson fan heater at TGG saying the temperature control is not working. She said, if I set to 18C, its not cooling. I was like WTF, its a heater for gods sake. Guess what, TGG accepted the returns. She probably nicely used it the whole winter.
I got a 65" qled eko a few years ago.
Sure it's not the best thing about. But has android. Better than web os.
Android is okay, not great but still quite usable.
TV picture is okay.
My only issue is it turning itself on randomly a few times a year.

I have one the LG WebOS tvs. And while the tv is fine, the WebOS is a pain to use. It's not android based, so the apps selection is very basic. The media player doesn't support some codecs and no VLC is available. Buying a "Smart" tv and then having just netflix/prime/disney isn't really that awesome. It's as much a msart tv as a mac is a gaming pc.
I got this and it was terrible. Tinny sound, massive soundbar lag. Returned.
I don't know how this tv is, but my personal recommendation (if you are in a budget) go with prism+ q55 pro qe(I have this) or if you want bigger screen q65 pro qe. Available at amazon.

Bit lag in android (manageable)
Good remote control
Build in chrome cast and hands free "ok Google" option available
Sound quality —> not bad (external sound bar should do the job has eARC and dolby atmos)
This the the EKO with Dolby Vision? or the older version.
If the old one..tunes up to a brilliant 4k picture. But upscaling and viewing angles are poor. Android will need regular resetting to avoid lag.

eko 85" broke down just after a year. Absolute pain getting it refunded
So I have the Blaupunkt - which is basically rebadged EKO. Okay TV - android is laggy - remote doesn't work sometimes.- Its okay for kids room but if you want budget - prob go with TCL which comes with 3 years warranty.
