IKEA high chairs are also a cheap practical go to for babies and toddlers

    • This. Also you're likely to find it being used in restaurants as well, so the tiny human feels right at "home" without much drama.

I love this chair. It's nice to put it on our existing chairs and not have an extra piece of furniture (ie standalone high chair) cluttering up my limited dining space.

It's also a winner when travelling.

    • Does it have restrictions on what kind of chair it'll fit ie. Does the seat need to be hard and flat?

      • +1

We're grandparents and we have ours on a padded dining chair.

The only downside to these is the tray when used away from the table isn't wide enough for a plate or the drinks bottles that the little one's use. When it's up at the table you don't need to use the tray, we stow it away, so that isn't as much a problem.

We love ours, was able to give our highchair away and just use this now.

  • Damn not available for delivery for me. Also a lot of other Ingenuity on sale

Thank you so much OP. Little one is 3 months and we have been keeping an eye out for this

Also don't be irresponsible and place this on top of a table or kitchen bench. Fatalities have happened

Anyone have any experience/input on how this compares to the kmart version for $20?
    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/feeding-booster-seat-426278…

    • Visually looking the Ingenuity has a bit of padding in the seat. The padding can also be removed as the little one grows. The tray looks as bad as the Ingenuity one.

      • +3

I have both and would recommend Ingenuity one. Kmart one is pretty basic plastic with no padding and cushioning.
Also the feature “ Removable tray stores neatly under the booster seat” is good in the other one.
The tray locking system in Kmart one is not smooth.
Overall between the two ingenuity is better.

I see at least 1 of these every 6 months on the curb lol.

    • Yeah babies don’t stick much to this after few months, plus their durability is questionable too but with the price it does get the work done when required .. very useful for outdoors etc

  • We have owned a couple of these and they’re great. They used to be on sale for circa $49 which BB would usually price match but this is cheapest I have seen.

  • +1

Babies outgrow these way too quickly. I'd just get the cheapest one you can find

  • We had this for our little ones, great seats and can be taken anywhere. We had them attached to some padded chairs and they were safe as houses. The table was handy as our kids like to eat right off it. This also made cleanups easy straight into the dishwasher/sink! Quite strong and durable and the one lasted through both kids. Definite recommend

  • Product images indicate one thing; comments say another. Any good for a slim but tallish 17-month?

    • +1

The straps adjust so slim wouldn't be a problem. If you're putting it on a dining chair then it would be fine.

    • +1

Not sure if they'll want to sit in it for much longer though. Ours outgrew it around the 2 year mark and we ended up having to get a proper kids chair (Stooke).

through woolworths online , you can get it with free shipping

  • Seems to be sold out

  • Oos :(

  • Anyone else see a strange robot head with a visor?

  • Thanks OP, got one of these and one of the swings which was also on sale.

  • You could see if Baby Bunting would price match.

  • +2

These are said to delay babies' sitting development

  • This is for 6+ months peeps.
    Thanks OP for the post.

  • Looks like Woolworth's has added more stock as noted by 1111L

    • None left now

      • The Ingenuity Smart Clean Toddler Booster is $35. It looks the same but without the tray.

        • It’s back in stock with the tray, just orders one at woolworths

I was able to get baby bunting to price beat this by 5% making it $33.25 with click and collect via their price promise form (https://www.babybunting.com.au/policies/price-promise) You need to include a screen shot to show the item is in stock from BIGW. (I just picked a random QLD store) and they sent me a coupon to use. Hope this helps anyone else

    • Cheers didn’t know they had a price beat lol it , will use this in the future
