Alright looks cheap for a good booting SSD. I'll bite. Thx OP.

  • I attempted 2 very simple looking captchas
"Verification code does not match the image!"

        So what if I am?
The day is coming when only those who can verify they are robots get access to anything.

    • Had the same issue. Refreshed page & tried again with a different captcha and it worked.

    Shuckable?

Ordered through paypal. Came out to be $20.39 with surcharge.

    • +1

Still a good price. I was not comfortable of doing bank transfer.

  • +7

    Do I need it? No
    Did I order it… dduuhhhhh!!!

I had to hold off for the Toshiba 512gb, I know it's a good price but previously have been as low as $45.

2009 called, they want their clunky you-must-create-an-account-in-order-to-purchase, redirect-to-a-3rd-party-payment-processor, not-optimised-for-mobile website back.

    • you-must-create-an-account-in-order-to-purchase

My experience with SydneyTools yesterday. Clicked "buy as a guest, log in with google account" - still had to create account.

    • I saw that and gave up 😬

  • Website 'Max Users'
    OzBargained

  • Damn it. Ordered.

I actually needed an external drive that was quickish. I've run out of space on my macbook air lmao

  • Just wondering what's the drive inside?

" Products marked with *** are not available in the desired quantity or not in stock! "

  • Would office works price match / beat etc

    • +1

You can try but you better be quick before it's out of stock. Looking at their previous deals, some people manage to price match apple airpods but that was a few years ago.

  • Grabbed 2, thanks OP
Maybe on second thought, can't order 2 :(

  • +1

    7 captchya fails. forget it

    • Haha you have more patience than me. The first time I know I typed it in right but I still got an error. I decided to refresh the page and give it 1 more go and it worked on my second attempt. I wouldn't have tried a third time.

  • Products marked with *** are not available in the desired quantity or not in stock!

  • Didn't really need it but grabbed one.

  • If you're having trouble getting past the payment section on mobile switch to "desktop site". That worked for me.

Now I can have one boot disk for every Linux distro.
    https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html

    • incidentally that is what i am also going to use this SSD for - for ventoy for booting and installing linux/windows and for a boot CD thingy.

  • Half way through ordering and now product not found.

    • +1

Same, now I've got some random account for IT Station I'll never use again. Joy.

  • OOS.

  • While on call to price match with Officeworks:

    Product not found!

    Hahahahaha!

    • -3

      You are too late

  • I think it's OOS, I hope my one doesn't get cancelled :/
Ordered mine 10 mins after it was posted.

  • All gone

  • Product not found lol

  • yeah all gone it seems - just after I made an account >.<

  • i bought two of these to create a data volume. Can anyone recommend a decent USB-C hub that is fast enough to keep up with these?

  • Just ordered 1tb one $88+ shipping ($9.70) + surcharge total $99.65 for me.

    looks like still available.

    • +1

If it was free shipping I'm sure people would be all over it. @keung6 wink wink

Edit: Also you can price match @ Officework

    • Gone!

  • i had it.. then it was gone.. buy first read later.

  • Guys went to OW and they price matched 1 TB and beat by 5%… worth to buy from OW

    • +1

is the office works next to your house?

    • What did you end up paying with price match and less 5% for the price beat? I got my local OW to do the same but they added in the shipping cost of $13.25 which ened up costing a total of $96.20.

    • -4

Good suggestion, next time I will change a bit of title make it difference with officeworks and then you don't need to waste the time to do price match

      • +2

Can we ban this store from ozbargain? First they take orders for items they don't have and now they speak like this. They seem like complete scumbags.

  • All gone! But it was trip back in time using their website

  • +3

    Thank-you all the order
At this moment we sold all the stock.

We will ship out all the order ASAP

  • I need an internal M.2 SATA disk to use on my Atomos Ninja V.. could this be M.2 SATA inside?

  • Damn, Out Of Stock… :(

  • got one… cheers

  • Both 250gb and 1tb are sold out.

    • Bummer, was hoping to get Officeworks to price match 1tb.

  • Anyone find it weird that they ask you to sign up to purchase but then you don't get an email confirmation saying that you've signed up?

    • or any order confirmation…

      • I think they probably have to do that manually since I still haven't been charged yet.

        • They took the money out of my account right after i ordered.

          • @GoonSack69: Yes sorry just checked my paypal again and they did charge me.

        • I have been charged on my PaypAl account already

          • @AirJordan23: Just checked again, yes they did.

          • @AirJordan23: PayPal is charged , you will see the tracking number when you login our website account

      • I have also not received any email, but paypal has taken the money. I forgot my password and the password reset is not sending any email either. I have now set a reminder in my calendar to check if either happen 1) I get a refund or 2) I get an email and therefore product

        • -1

You login your account you can see the tracking number if you see the PayPal captured

          • +1

@keung6: You're missing their point. They're trying to reset password but aren't able to because they are not getting an email to reset the password.

            • @Riqodex: Correct, I can't log in and am not receiving a password reset. I am in limbo

    • Yeah, you're right. I ordered one but until now no confirmation of my order.

      • According to large amount ordering, we need take sometime to arrange the stock and update the shipping details

You login your account you can see the tracking number if you see the PayPal captured

We won't capture your money, if we didn't ship out the order

PayPal will protect your order, you don't need to worry about your lost

        • +5

          We won't capture your money

I bought WD 1Tb SSD for $122.55 yesterday from OW after price beat comparing digidirect
    https://www.digidirect.com.au/wd-my-passport-1tb-usb-c-porta…

    • Not bad I guess

    • This store had a Toshiba 1TB you could price beat at OW for $83.60

  • Thanks Op. bought one.

  • Dang Why i keep missing good deals. So much exam stress and stuff

    • huh

  • Has anyone received a confirmation email after placing their order?

    • Nothing yet

    • Mine was "voided" because "the item was running out"

  • +1

Mine says 'pending' . I paid by paypal.

Something tells me the seller is trying hard to scrounge more units as they oversold. I expect a cancellation by tomorrow.

    • +1

No confirmation email and PayPal hasn't been charged yet. Yeah, got a feeling they're going to cancel mine.

      • Mine was "voided" because "the item was running out". I also didn't receive a confirmation email or receipt from PayPal

  • This is a very old model Diana book with the old usb strange connector you cannot find anywhere

    • +3

      very old model Diana

      Isn't Camilla older?
      sorry

    • -1

USB 3.2 type c is old, so what is new??

  • +1

It looks like my one was cancelled. I guess they had limited amount. If you ordered around the same time, 10 mins after this deal was posted, expect it to be cancelled. Was really hoping to get one, oh well.
