I bought it from the last Samsung EPP deal

100% recommend the TV! I was a bit worried when i ordered as this has a VA panel which apparently has a narrower viewing angle and my previous TV had an IPS panel. There was no difference in the viewing angles. Worth every dollar

    • I got the 75" QN90B Neo, I don't think it is VA panel?

      • QN90B

I think it is VA panel only QN85B not VA.

        https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/samsung-qn90b-qled-v…

        • Just be careful with rtings as some models have different panels to the NA and EU models

          • @nk7: Ozbargainers said the same on previous deals

      • This TV is the Q70B which has a VA Panel, i belive Q85 and Q90 have different panels. Different series, different specs

  • No stock in Vic for the 65'' :(

No stock in Vic for the 65'' :(

      Get 75" you won't regret

    • Go for 75.

  • Thanks, been waiting for this to go sub $2000. What's the current EPP price, is it still around $2300?

  • +1

    This or the TCL C835?

    • Would like to know this too..

      • Yeah I have a bright sunlit room so keen to know!

        • +4

As far as brightness the TCL I think has a higher nits, at 1023 which is enough for properly showing Dolby vision (I think requires peaks at over 1000 nits)

        • Have had the 75C835 for a week and I thought today I'd get some 'nice sunlight' coming through onto the TV, but this is Melbourne and not Sparta (not even Brisbane) so will see in the next day or two when the weather's better.
So far, it still has reflections but the brightness of this thing really helps.

TCL is more comparable to the QN90B.

      • which model tcl compares to samsung qn90b ?

        • +2

The one mentioned in the post he replied to, the TCL c835

    • +4

C835 is mini LED and Google TV which is better, only if you don't mind TCL brand.

      • if comparing the 65" sounds like the TCL is a better buy at $85 more

    • Thanks all.

  • Seems the prices dropping, the 75inch one will be $1450 by April 2023.

    • I am not sure why Q70B and Q80B always have limited stock since they are 2022 models.

  • Can these do 4K@120hz?

  • I JUST gave them a call and haggled the 75 inch Q70b to $1650!
I told them there was no stock for the 65inch TV in my area (Western NSW).
I'm using for PS5 and it has everything I need. Good luck! :)

      haggled the 75 inch Q70b to $1650!

That is cheap, in store? Not much stock in stock

    • +1

      Wow, well done!

    • Which store mate?

      • over the phone (must have been their call centre because I heard none of the usual background noise.)
the bloke did have to 'go to management' after they went lower than 1690 but it seemed easy enough

        • nearby stores had no stock of the 65 inch so I used that as leverage to get the 75 inch down.
(only 1x 65 inch left in newcastle from when I called at 10am)
          Hope that helps!

If you don't mind, could you please post the receipt? I've tried to negotiate, but was told no.

              @KrispyKrunch: Thank you! :) I’ll send a DM.

Edit: Couldn’t send a DM, I think that you may have private messaging switched off. I’ve just switched mine on. I’ll still give the price match a shot today anyway. :)

Edit 2: Dang, they still refused, even with the quoted order number. :( They said it was a one-off “mistake”. The rep I spoke to actually mentioned Ozbargain so I’m pretty sure they’ve been told explicitly not to match it, lol.

Congrats on your deal, looks like it was a miraculous one-off!

@[Deactivated]: Wow thanks for the update!
Look at that - I got something so good I'm making waves in corporate! Haha.
Hope I didn't get the poor guy in trouble…
                Good luck on your search!
Tonnes of sales coming up. No doubt you'll find something good.

        • @KrispyKrunch I too am interested in screenshot of the receipt if are you able send it to me.

          • @ArnoldSchwarzenegger: Sorry about that! Another ozbargainer tried to price match my deal but looks like JB have caught on and barred that price as a 'mistake' haha.
Good luck on your hunt :)

    • Could I also get a receipt reference too please, would be keen to get it at that price. Thanks!

        • Just tried DM'ing you but I believe you might have that function turned off.

Could you DM to open it up, thanks!

Hey guys I would really appreciate some feedback on which 75 inch tv to get between $1,500 - $2,000? If i can ring JB to match that $1,650 deal would this be the best?

    • This one is good for the price if you can match $1,650

    • Any luck matching that deal?

  • Bought the q70a 75 inch a few months ago for $1300. Loving it.

    • I bought the frame 2021, $1288 a few weeks ago which is similar to 70a, the first time they have clearance stock at Sydney

  • +2
  • Q70, the frame, and the serif are all edgelit so not killer hdr monitors but I am pretty happy with the 55" serif for day to day viewing.

  • +3

I recently purchased the 85 inch frame tv for 2940. 75" was for around 1900. Basically if you are a samsung cuatomer, go to their chat and ask for 30% off discount code. Nicely. They will give you a code which is applicable on the QN series and LS03B(frame 2022). So not a bad deal if you want to opt for the full array options either.
    Qn85b 85" would be 3360.
Qn90b 85" was 3840. But they recently changed the price o their website.

    • I did this as well, best bargain of the year =D

    • Hi, I've tried this in Samsung chat but they allegedly can't provide it and state that I will need to email their loyalty team.

Is that what you ended up doing or was your experience different? Thanks

      • A friend of mine was also asked to do this. He received the code in a couple of days. The benefit was that they gave him the code with expiry till 3rd dec. Vs chat code which is only valid for a week. You can take advantage of the black friday pricing.

      • Can you share the email address and what you were asked to send. Send me a private message. Thanks

  • Anyone else struggle with them only doing a 1 year warranty?

    • regardless of warranty, you have rights under australian consumer law. They would have to repair or replace or refund under a reasonable timeframe…i would say 3 years is easily reasonable. Maybe could push to even 4 or 5…it would be hard for them to argue against it.

  • How would this go for a computer monitor? Im thinking of ditching the physical desktop and hooking PC up to the lounge room TV and gaming on the couch.

  • Any promos on the Samsung slim wall mounts ?

  • Why is this marked expired?

  • I called up JB and best they would do on the 75" was $1850.

  • Whats the difference between Q70A and Q70B ? Is it Q70A is 2021 model and Q70B is 2022 model ?

  • Also, i am confused between the LG QNED80 for almost same price on TGG. Is Q70B better ?

  • You can get this TV with B450 soundbar to get extra 15% off today.

    So total $1,992.40

  • Hows this compared to the Q60B 75"
