How hot does this SanDisk get? Ultra Fits usually are burning hot.

Honestly if you buying for 1TB then you should get mini SSD like Samsung T5 (500MB/s) or T7 (1GB/s), USB like these significantly slows down when you read write large files.
      Also, it gets warm/hot

    • Hot AF if you leave it plugged in.
It doesn't help that the luxe series are metal.

    • It's disturbingly hot when plugged in and not even being used I've be resorted to removing it. Didn't get much hotter under normal use

Where are my OGs who owned 16MB flash drives back in the day?

    • I still use them!
      Edit: I mean I still use 16GB

You young whipper snappers need to get off my lawn. If you are not wearing a 5.25" floppy diskette with a notch cut up to make it double sided around your neck flava flav style.

some ultra fancy floppy fandangle tech right there @xoom
        Waves in Commodore 1530 Datasette.

      • There will still 5.25” floppy computers floating around in my primary school.

      • peasant, zip drive all the way!

        • The Scotch LS120 was better than the original Zip105. It read floppy disc as well, and fitted in a 3.5" bay.

There was also the Jaz drive as well from Iomega, but you couldn't beat an Orb drive.

          • @BewareOfThe Dog: I still got that LS floppy disk drive and disks. As well as an iomega zip disk parallel port drive.

Found an old box of floppies. Wrote bitcoin wallet on it then rubbed to make it look aged. Put it in the side of my kids grandmothers lounge that she gave us and waited. It took a couple of months but the result was hilarious.

You evil evil man. I like it.👌

      • Punched Cards like the 96-column ones for the IBM System3

      • You younguns who thought that 5.25" floppy diskettes were all the rage. Bigger has always been better, and if you're not packing 8", go home.

  • Got the 256gb one. Great for searing a steak. Runs nice and hot.

In all honesty, don't recommend. Get an SSD.
