  • Very good deal. Just be warn that these have a common issue with coil whine. I have the coil whine issue which can be annoying if you're not playing any audio.

    • Are you sure it’s not the TV doing Pixel Cleansing?

      • Yes, you can google online, it's a common issue with this unit unfortunately

    • Are you running a 77'' mate? The forums all seems to be reporting it on the 65''?

      Also, have you tried this?

      From Redit:

      I found it!
      Oh Dear Lord!
It's the General - Tv Management - Quick Start+ and the External Devices - TV On Whith Moblie - Turn both off.
      Nothing, Zero, Silence, complete Silence..

      • 65" and I have tried everything, including changing picture mode etc, doesn't seem to be going away. Still contemplating whether I should try my luck with a replacement.

        • ah, that would drive me crazy as well. I'm hoping that its a 65" issue given I have a 77 on the way but if it did have this issue then straight back to the shop it will go.

          • @BB-AU: Yeah, I hope it's all good on yours. Since the G2 is a great TV otherwise. I have a LG C2 55" as well and it's been perfectly fine, no coil whine.

  • Is the 77" good? Never heard of CS model and google shows no results when searching CS series TVs

    • I heard it's similar to the LG CX.

    • C1 panel with updated processor AFAIK.

      • What would be the difference between that and the C2 then?

        • Slightly less bright screen.

  • S95b I think it's the real winner here

    • Sure is. With TGG’s coupon plus their Real Ca$h promo that easily nets you $1000 discount. Then if you ordered before the capped 10% cashrewards, it would’ve netted you another $214. So all in all, you can get it to as low as $2800 delivered

And can confirm, already gotten my cashback from Cashrewards and email confirmation for the $200 Visa Card from TGG.

      • Solid.

      • You can currently get that price via the Samsung Store - it’s $3999 on the Samsung store at the moment, but with the 30% off coupon that Samsung sales representatives frequently offer, that brings it down to $2799 (with free delivery).

Only question is…buy now, or hold out two more weeks for Black Friday? Hmm…

        • Oh man, this is so tempting. Decisions, decisions. I think there was a recent deal that brought this down to ~$2660 (plus delivery) but you also had to buy a soundbar. Ill see if i can find it.

          Here it is https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/727183

Just tried through the Samsung Store and they wouldn't give the 30% off(they would for QLED but not OLED), best they could do was 15%.

Not a fan of getting GC in return though.

    • Depends if you're a fan of Dolby Vision though… as you won't get it on the S95b

      • Definition worth noting, thanks. I have the G1 from last year and use DV often, it seems to be coming more and more common.

        • Can always pickup a cheap amazon firestick (or whatever you prefer) and use that as a solution. Apparently HDR10+ is the preferable platform moving forward as its open source and companies dont want to keep paying Dolby.

  • will it go down further during black Friday?

    • no, buy buy buy

  • how is g2 cheaper then c2 - or havent they updated the deal for c2?

  • -1

Picked up the 83 inch G2 for 7500. Loving it.

  • The s95b has gone up in price since yesterday was totalling $3,240 (inc shipping). Today I am getting $3,640.

  • +1

As and FYI, ended up getting the 77 g2 for $5,900 from JB with free delivery, basically price matching Good guys with a tiny bit of extra cream.

    Pretty good TV so far……
