    Price at least?

  • 217 each plus 19.99 fitting price per tyre

    • So just under a thousand and a $500 bbq.

      Not bad.

What are the actual tires like

  • do they price match?

    • Generally Costco does not

$20 fitting fee per tyre is a weird one. Why not just add $20 to each tyre? Or do people go and fit tyres themselves somehow?

    • Yes, I'm wary of a business that under-quotes a price to get you in, then adds to that price what other businesses include as standard.

      • Costco considers themselves a warehouse (as opposed to a retailer/shop) for members - they probably will state the price of the tyres as the supplying goods price and the $20 as a service to install it… As /u/zombie hunter posted, you can always DIY your own tyres or if you've got a small business installing tyres you could charge your customer the service cost yourself.

Standard on bridgestone and tyresales for my area is a $265 mark, so still cheaper - and even more so if I DIY or know someone who can install for me

Costco do not allow you to take the tyres without paying the fitting fee. Try adding them to your cart online, it adds the fitting and cannot be deleted.

          • @valkeris: Thanks valkeris.
That reinforces my wariness of businesses who are deceptive in their pricing.

There's actually a large sign above the shop that states the $19.99 fitting fee will be removed if you do not have them fitted, which implies you can take them with you. You'll be refunded the fitting fee when you pick the tyres up and don't get them fitted I imagine, after ordering and having them delivered to the store for pickup.

  • none of my cars use 17 tyres

  • i would get this, but my tyres are 20" :(

    • Just sell the other 3" :}

Drive around without tyres for an hour and the 17's will then fit like a glove

  • Cheaper on the Bridgestone website +Weber

Your link is for 215/60R17 96H, whilst the Costco ones are 225/65R17 102H's though

      • Ah yes sorry, thats my tyres. It's actually a great deal for me on the bridgestone page, $800 for 4 tyres and the weber free. I'll see if Costco can price match?

  • Gosh tyres have gone up in price a year ago duller was. 280 or lower and now 405 but you get a weber…

    • How come you got those over the others?

    tires are soo expensive. damn!

    • Lucky you don't own a A380. There's 22 of them and at $5000 approx each, they last about six months, or three hundred landings.

      • Aha yea I read about them. Its commercial so the price is actually factored into the flight ticket.
