note - this item may be short dated and hence the price reduction. the 6 pack i bought last night has a best before date of 2nd december . however it tastes fine/normal.

i picked up a 6 pack of this tonight at my local Uncle Dans at Kippa Ring for $9.90 -members price

thought I'd post it as a deal but it is already posted here

but whilst checking out the dan murphy website (to grab the link) I noticed the price of a slab varies by store.

some are $55 a slab, some (like my local are $36.90) a slab, and some. like north lakes/mango hill are $26.55 for a slab.

a quick search of Bris shows the following have it for $26.55

Mango Hill/North Lakes
Newstead
Redbank Plains

a squiz at my old stomping ground of Camberwell showed slabs for $25.05 . nice.
also most of south east melb is that price (hawthorn, malvern, kew, etc.)

so have a gander of your local and see how you go.

      Hardly any stock in inner west incl Burwood. There's a few at Kingsford but it's about $30 per case, not $25.

        I tried at some of the above shops and none can make a case, reverts to 3 x 6 packs and price reverts to 6 pack price, no deal for what is likely old stock

          I only found very limited stock in Guildford, Mosman and Kingsford. I'm guessing all those stores are out now. It's not exactly a "no deal" from me, but I understand that it is frustrating trying to locate stock.

            @kati: It's no deal because you can't get a case for 25 bucks, even if it presents that price there's not enough stock, so the last deal that was posted stands, which is 9.90 per 6 pack. It's a TKO

    My order for a case was cancelled this AM, also most places in metro Syd don't allow for cases and limits to one pack in store even though it says it is in stock (e.g. Willoughby)

      Very bland but not disagreeable, prefer wild yak or pacific yak. For under $40 a carton still a good deal.

      Yes mine were Jan 23. Very bland beer but also has a peculiar flavour about it. Not sure if its due to poor storage or near expiry but I wouldn't buy again..

      Yep I ended up getting two cases. Both have Jan 2023 as expiry. Has a nice taste to it initially but a bit of a bland aftertaste. Have had worse beers though, worth it at this price.
