About the event

** STADIUM ROCK IS BACK WITH GUNS N’ ROSES THIS SUMMER 2022! **

These will be the biggest stadium rock nights of the year, with one of the biggest bands on the planet!

The classic line up of Axl, Slash and Duff are at long last on their way, saying “Light is at the end of the tunnel, and we look forward to getting back on stage later this year in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. We cannot Fn wait!”

Following their North American tour to huge response as audiences lap up an EPIC 3 HOUR show, GNR head on to perform stadium concerts in Europe and South America. Excitingly, Australian and New Zealand fans will be witness to the grand tour finale concerts, when GNR take to the stage here before becoming the first ever international act to perform at Auckland’s iconic Eden Park, rounding off the tour in ground-breaking style.

The biggest night of rock just got bigger as The Chats, Cosmic Psychos and Alien Weaponry join Guns N’ Roses as special guests on their stadium tour this November and December.

  • Axl Rose’s voice is utterly shot

    • I bet. Saw Bob Dylan about 6 years ago at the Tennis Centre in Melbourne, his voice was too. The songs barely sounded like their original. It was a let down.

Still, to see Slash playing would be cool.

      • I saw Dylan. I couldn't recognise most of the songs. I can't say I enjoyed the concert.

        • +3

Unrecognisable songs are a trademark of Dylan when he plays live

      • That part is. I saw them last time they came and we loved seeing slash live. Worth it alone.

        • Are you talking about the "Not in this lifetime" tour? They sounded great, but i think that was the last G'nR tour Axl sounded any good

      • Go see any of Slash's other bands. When he performs with Miles Kennedy its a great show.

  • Lasttix had Gold seated tix for $50 last time.

I might bite at that price.. maybe.

Part of me really wants to go because I've been a Gunners fan since 12 years old, another part of me doesn't want to go because I know Axl can't sing for sh*t nowadays, another part of me can't resist a bargain and one final part of me feels sad that a Guns N Roses concert is discounted.
    What to do?

Go. Some friends and I saw them live last time. Seeing Slash more than makes up for the vocals.

      • Yah I agree with this. I had a class upgrade last time (silver price for gold) and def last tour axl's voice was much better and slash and duff were amazing… I think discounts it's bound to happen with big stadium tour

    • Keep the good memories

    • Wait for izzy

  • I went to the last concert a few year ago. The sound engineer was on holidays apparently, it was shit hearing multiple reverb. Also Axl is fat and can't sing nor move.

    Extremely disappointing experience.

  • Noob question but what are silver tickets?

    • Silver tickets are the seats in the nosebleed section, at least what's left of them. Looks like silver tickets are the lowest level you can get.

Here is an example. If you hover over the silver reserve button you can see where the seats are at a venue, in this instance, Suncorp Stadium.

  • Are they coming to vic?

    • Yep, playing the MCG

  • You'd have to pay me to see The Chats.

I'm on smoko, so leave me alone

These guys would sound nothing like they used too .. but I'm sure slash could probably still play like he used too..

You can look up YouTube on recent concerts to see if it's worth going to

Where are Metallica? Waiting for them actually.

    • James is probably attending rehab again

    • I thought of this when I saw this deal. Guns N Roses were terrible enough that they made Canadians riot.

    • The last tour got cancelled as James relapsed.

I was kind of relieved after watching videos. Obviously not going to see them do a show on par with Seattle 89, but a steep decline from the Oz tour for Death Magnetic (which in fairness was infinitely better than the St. Anger tour.) I went two nights, one seated for the show experience and then the following night for the pit. I was 3 people from the barrier and James and Kirk pulled the Master of Puppets guitar harmony right in front of me and my brother. A very special moment as we are both huge fans since we were kids.

An all time favorite band of mine but I wouldnt pay big money to see them any more. The Memory Remains perhaps?

    Save your money here

  • I went to the first Sydney concert last time (3 or 4 years ago?)

    I loved it.

Was pretty disappointed though that the seats I paid $200 for when they first got released went for $50 the day before the concert.

  • Gold tickets $69 for Perth as well now. Maybe tomorrow it will be diamond for $69 lol.
If you seriously fall for this crap have a listen to one of their latest concert performances here. This is making meatloaf look pretty bloody good now haha.

    • His voice is totally gone… quite sad they broke up at their peak…
