      Are there any advantages over using say a ps5?

        I use it mainly for Kodi that’s why I want something Android based. If PS5 has all the apps you want then I’d just get the media remote instead of a second streaming box. I’m sure there would be technical differences between format support but if you already have a PS5 and it works, stick with it.
