'4K supported', '5G', '8500 Lumens' - Yeah, this looks about as trustworthy as Elon Musk's promises about free speech.

Didn't need one, have no idea where I'm going to use it, but the comments in the past deal and reviews convinced me I'd regret not buying one. Thanks OP!

Just to correct the above post. 4K supported just means it can accept 4K but downscale to 1080. It's 5Ghz Wifi not 5G. 8500 lumens but apparently 340 ansi lumens.

    • What bait and switch marketing..

    • 340 ansi lumens - is that too low?

      • The Xgimi Halo True which was $799 the other day with eBay Plus is 800ansi lumens so a bit more than double the brightness. I've not seen either so I have no idea what effect that has in real life.

I have one of these. They are amazing! Room needs to be somewhat dark, so in the night time you're all good and in the day time, having the blinds down is enough. It is a bit loud, but after about 5-10 minutes you'll probably forget about it. Sound is also decent, but if you don't like it, just pick up a pair of speakers. The video quality is pretty decent for what you pay for. Up close you'll see the pixels but about 2-3m away the quality is fine. Enough to read subtitles. Yes its not crystal clear and there is a little bit of blur around the edges, but again, not that noticeable. For $279 (the amount i paid for 6-ish months ago) its definitely one of my good purchases.

I recommend also picking up a chromecast for this.

  • Was hoping it would be a new ATL for black friday

  • Just adding I’m still really happy with mine. Had it since July. Good little unit

  • Are we going to see a good price on the next model up?

    • Ooh yeah, V7 sounds like it has some decent improvements. Unfortunately, as with many other nice to have things, Australia is the relegated "old" model sales market… lol

V6 sounds like it does a pretty good job… but after looking at the V7 am unable to pull the trigger on the V6 like I was considering for how many months waiting for this sale lols.

      • The auto keystone is definitely the key feature for me. Thinking I'll wait for V7 as well

        • 343 on aliexpress and 400 on amazon US. Not sure an extra 70 is worth auto keystone though.

btw I found it for 210US ~ AUD315 on aliexpress black friday sales. $35 extra is worth it

          • @mit: Which seller link?

            • +1

@impoze: Can't seem to copy it. Yaber official store. It's pretty much the only v7 pro on the site

Pay in USD. Otherwise it's $328

  • Lol been waiting for a discount for months but wasn’t patience enough and bought this instead.

Does anyone know they are similar or not?
