Not a glitch. It combines with the % offers, which right now is 30%. More commonly they run a 20% offer but it's been boosted for Black Friday. It has always been this way.

    • +2

Yep, always works like this, not a glitch if they haven't sorted it for years

  • +1

    Jurassic dominion

    Awesome

    boils my piss
    jeff goldblum being jeff goldblum
    🤣

Damn I thought the movie called ‘Glitch 2’ for $40 and ‘Becomes 2’ for $28.

    • +5

I thought movie was called Pricing Glitch 2 directed by broden. Some story about a gaming console price glitch that made an ozbargainer a multimillionaire

    • Price Error: The Muzeeb Story

      • Pricing Glitch 5: The Muzeeb Saga

    • Would I be able to follow it or should I watch Glitch first?

      • You should first watch the original

Jurassic dominion is a big fail . Literally watched 10 min and walked out

    • +10

Easily the worst of the 6 films. And considering JP3 is one of those 6 films, that’s really saying something.

      • Seriously? Is it worse than the 3rd? I thought the 4th wasn't too bad, but that the script writers were on holiday for the 5th.

        • +1

          Eaaily

For me I think order released is the order in quality too. I genuinely hate the World Trilogy.

Atleast JP3 had a (fake) Spino.

          • +2

@scuderiarmani: I agree totally. Very kind of them to release in descending order of quality to be consistent.

I watched the first movie the other night, still as amazing as ever.

            • +3

@Deditus: The 4th was clearly like the 7th Star Wars movie. A complete retell of the original movie for a new generation. I understand why people rate it ok, but I can't give it credit for its complete lack of originality. Genetically engineered Dinos is dumb too…. Dinos are scary as they are.

5th was boring. 6th, Uggghh, who needs Dinos when we have locusts…. Really…

              • +1

@scuderiarmani: I hated the idea of a hybrid dinosaur, I thought it smacked of desperation when there were so many other real dinosaurs they could have used. I gave it a pass at the time because they didn't go as overboard as I thought they would have, and at least made is similar to some actual dinosaurs (Rajasaurus etc) - but then they pull the same hybrid dinosaur BS in the next movie.

You're right in that JW is just JP reimagined for a new generation, but bigger, dumbed-down, and nowhere near as good. I can't believe they gave the reins to those people.

                • +1

@Deditus: Yeah, a Giga for example, logical next step after a Spino for 4.

Allosaurus would have been fine in 5 with the compact spaces…..

All of the big carnivores reappearing in 6. Job done.

    • +1

Don't know how you could rate a movie after 10 mins. That's just the opening credits.

    • that whole franchise is a blatant money grab on the Jurassic Park movie

  • +7

I came here for 4k TV glitch 🥴

  • +2

Thanks, Mulholland Dr and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon for $22 delivered (still had my $10 perk)

    • +1

Spoiler alert: there’s no Tigers or Dragons in the movie. 😉

  • +2

The correct thread title would be 30% off tv and movies at jb

    • +2

Not quite .Dune 4k is 36.95 or on special at $25.88 (30%off) however buy 2 and its about $14.50 each)

      • -2

It's also free on Netflix. Half the movies mentioned in this thread are currently free on Netflix or Prime. Not sure I'd watch any of them more than once.

        • +1

4K UHD blu rays have significantly better picture and audio quality though. For me any class war film is an Insta buy at this price to take advantage of my tv and audio setup. Apocalypse Now is breathtaking.

      • I meant the thread shouldn't reference the 2 for 40 (i thought it had been posted but i could be wrong)

  • +2

You just just got a terrible taste in films! ;)

  • +2

ambulance and Jurassic dominion aint worth $28. :p

    • Ambulance is considered by 4k collectors as a reference atmos disk. Pretty typical for average movies to have great sound, Moonfall is another example.
Can't say the same for the screenplay, but it's great to show off a sound system.

      • I get why people buy bad movies to show off their systems because the mastering is top notch, but also, I don't haha

  • +1

Yeah this is standard stacking that happens every time.
    I picked up 2 for $30 Blu-rays for $21 yesterday.

  • Waiting on the 2-4-1 for the LOTR/Hobbit trilogies

    • +1

Depending on how long you want to wait, both available for $80 odd from Amazon AU.

  • +2

Thanks for this, just got Dune 4K and Zack Snyder's Justice League 4K for $18 thanks to the $10 perks voucher

  • Try price match in store - they will take 30% off the new price.
Got Back to The Future 4k collection for $25.10!

    • Are you saying jb will take 30% off the price matched price?

  • lol was hoping it was monitors

  • +3

This inspired me to look up the price of the 4K Lord of the Rings; $59.50 at JB, but only $42.45 at Amazon right now:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Rings-Trilogy-Theat-Ultra-Blu-ray/…

  • -1

I put Top Gun: Maverick ($27.99) and Tenet ($24.48) in my shopping cart, and the price just stays full 😞 no 2 for $40, nor additional 30%

    • +2

Top Gun Mav isn't a 2 for 40 movie, Tenet is

      • +1

        Ah. That'll do it. Thanks.

    • +1

A lot of people not happy with the noise reduction post processing on the T2 disc

      • +1

        Great list though

    • I hadn't realised Inglourious was part of the 2-4-40-30%off. Makes it $14. That'll do!

  • Lord of the Rings 4K boxset for $32.45 if you get them to price match Amazon and apply your Perks voucher!

  • -6

This has been the case for years. Not a glitch.

    • +1

      But still a deal.

  • +1

damn heat 4k is not in this glitch

  • +3

    You paid $14 for Ambulance?

    That's $13.98 too much.

    • +4

Yes,but in true ozbargain fashion I bought it because it was a really good price. (This and 11 other 4ks) - It will sit on the shelf as part of my 4k bluray collection. Unwatched, unopened until in 10 years time I finally sell it to CEX for 20 cents

  • +1

    its called stacking

  • Thank you I got about 8
