I placed an order via Dyson website live chat, after I clicked on shopback link to dyson.
Payment was made on a link provided in the live chat. Customer service gave me order number after the chat.
Will shopback track this? Or if I report missing cashback, will shopback gives me the cashback?

Dyson had extra freebies the other day but not showing on website anymore. During the chat customer service said she can give me the freebie if I place order with her. Luckily 45 days free return so I can just returned it unopened if not tracked.

How can the cashback tracking system get access to the secure chat interface you used?

These type of deals are negotiated deals with an agent. Wont track unless you placed the order through their website itself (if the agent sent you a link to order)
Depends whether you pasted the link after clicking through from shopback?
Probably declined by merchant on the basis of custom order/negotiated price.
Hey mate, our tracking is an automated process and tracks using your browser data while you shop. That means that if you don't place the order using the motions of the website, there won't be any shopper data for Dyson to report to us to track. ShopBack works via affiliate marketing, whereby when you make a purchase through us, the store attributes the purchase to us and pays us a commission on that purchase. For that reason, if the purchase isn't attributed to us by Dyson, we can't add the Cashback back in manually after the fact as it has to come from Dyson's side as well.
The Dyson upsize if still running, so you still have the option to cancel and place the order again if you are banking on the Cashback there!
