Shopback has an upsized 6.5% cashback. Might be better than the Cashrewards 10% capped at $100 deal for those purchasing higher cost items.

Have confirmed via live chat that Apple credit can be used and it can be used with the Apple Black Friday sale.

Exclusions:

  • Newly Announced Products - Apple Watch (Ultra, Series 8), All iPhone 14 (Plus, Pro, Pro Max), iPad Mini, Mac Studio, Studio display, and MacBook Pro 13-inch M2
  • New Apple Releases - iPad (10th Gen), iPad Pro 11-inch and 12.9-inch, and Apple TV 4K
  • Apple Pro Display XDR, BOSE products, iTunes, Trade-in-parts, Gift Cards, Gift Wrap, Apple Developer Programs, Shipping and AppleCare products, & Apple Refurbished products
  • EPP stores are excluded. Education store is only 1.2% cashback

      I think it all depends on what the back to school promo is i.e. whether gift card (like in US/UK this year) or AirPods. Either way would be pretty close in savings

    Hasn‘t the current gen iPad Mini released ages ago? Why is it being excluded?
    I also doubt the M2 Macbook Air is included as it is still a relatively new product.

          Purchased the base model 14 inch M1 Pro around midday but nothing has tracked as of yet as status still shows preparing to ship on the Apple website

          Can confirm I just received the email confirming ShopBack tracked.
          - Purchased base model M1 Pro 14 config at $2999 using Apple Credit (added to my account using various 10% off and 15% off discounted gift cards)
          - Received bonus $400 GC and confirmed $153.58 cashback email. Calculated on the amount excluding GST & GC amount

            @goandgoo: That's interesting, it seems CR Cashback was calculated with the regular RRP.

            Anyway, I placed an order too last night, took some time making up mind and scanning all those codes ,checking with Shopback about offer validity.

            It's a pickup order so I might get it today and will hope the Cashback tracking to turn up soon after.

            Did you opt for the $10 challenge too? I remember having started the challenge but did not use the 'shop now' option, appears from TnC that it might still work.

              @wordsmith: My cashback from ShopBack was calculated the same as Cashrewards but 6.5% instead of 10%.

              Eg AirPods Pro
              399-80=319/1.1=290+80=370x6.5%=24.05

                @j1568: Putting the numbers from M1 Pro in the same formula gives a different result than what @goandgoo has seen on his cashback.

                I might have to talk to SB support to figure out the calcs.

                  @wordsmith: So I think it's calculated $2999-400=$2599 * 10/11= $2362.73 * 0.065= $153.58.
