Marginally cheaper than last time, but that deal went down like a lead balloon. Overpriced cardboard. Why you would buy this instead of a regular timber frame you can actually store stuff under is really beyond me!

    • Great question!
For people who are renting, moving often, or just want something a little easier, our bed base provides an option that is lightweight, easy to build, and completely sustainable.
For some people, who're not in their forever home, means that this can actually be a perfect alternative to assembling something with no instructions and missing parts, all the while struggling to move pieces that are over 2 metres long.

  • The black is dyed right? What dyes are used? Are the others dye free?

  • Or just use milk crates & save $126- $203.

    • Love the recycling energy here but we're waaaaaay to lactose intolerant for that solution 😆

      Stay thrifty bud

  • They could be useful as temporary/guest beds, as they can pack back away in the box they come in. But from the reviews, they are not very good for thin/ camp matresses, so you still have the matress to deal with….

  • If you want the poverty look, why not just place the mattress on the floor?

    • Our new colours are really popular, most people don't even notice they're cardboard!

But just so you know a mattress on the floor can accumulate moisture which can lead to mould growth.
They need space to breathe 💨

    • Great point! We actually recently did a product update to improve the experience after some furry friend feedback.
