Found these at Bunnings Gregory Hills NSW , a few in stock ,most probably a store clearance ,bought one anyway never used electric before $6.50 still a bargain ,will give it go .thanks

  This thing will be sht beyond belief. Wouldn't even take it if they paid me $6.50 to take it away.

    Never know. I bought an XU1 angle grinder for $20 in 2001… has done 20 odd reno's and kms of fencing and roofing. Still going (they even included a spare set of brushes). 75% of set 2 still left.

      I've bought a few XU1 tools on clearance for back-ups when my Makita's are all on charge and have no complaints at all. The hammer drill has drilled roof tiles and many bricks and their small drill is great as a screwdriver.
      For $6.50 I'd have no hesitation getting one and using it on a regular garden.

  To anybody considering getting this as their gateway into electric garden tools.

  Although I'm all for electric tools and have made the switch myself….please don't consider this tool a good representation of the electric garden tools quality, performance and reliability.

  I'm not saying electric tools are crap (very much the opposite actually), but I'm saying that if you have a bad experience with this one don't consider it as "I've tried electric garden tools and their crap"
