  • Just noticed they are backordered for 4 weeks.. Go for price match i guess..

Good price, but crazy to me how any of these retailers are taking orders on these TVs at the moment with no knowledge of when they’ll actually be in stock. Not to mention that most of them you can’t get delivered and you can’t pick up in store.
    Frustrating!

    • is it due to china lockdown ?

I was told the TVs would come by Feb ! I told them I won’t wait for a tv for 3 months. That’s crazy

      • Exactly, but just like the cashback deal with GG’s. I’d really like to know how many people got their TVs prior to the ‘late November’ delivery date and received cashback as a result.

Would be happy to eat my words.

          Brought a 75 qned85 from Lg for 2.5k instead.

GG still telling me they'll they'll honour the $300 real cash if/when the TV arrives, but TCL does not want to support their $200 promo cashback unless I can show them a serial number by tomorrow. Purchased 11/11.

      Ya, free shipping too!

      • Back order. Not January though

  • Can recommend, audio is so good (and space lacking!) I’m selling my pair of HomePod’s
Only issue I have is Apple TV remote won’t learn the tv so can’t control volume, have to use the TVL remote.

Coming from a 55 it’s huge my my word with good content ot looks amazing

    • Can you control the tv volume using HDMI CEC on the apple tv settings? Curious as I have an apple tv and considering this model.

      • I’ll try this today, running 2 remotes is getting old

      • I don't have experience with apple tv but my amazon firetv do work for controlling the tv's volume.

  • thoughts on the price of these at all retailers post black friday? Will they come back down to sub 2k?

  • I placed an order for a 65 inch LG cs but tempted by changing my order to this. LG will have better picture and os but extra size would be nice. Cant decide.

    • OLED better

Let me know where I can buy a 75 inch OLED for $2000 and I'll buy 2.

I'm talking about picture quality not quantity (screen real estate)…if you concerned about money, you have the option of $600 or $700 75" TVs from Aldi and Big W that are on offer every now and then…and yes, you can buy 2 if you like.

      • Not in a bright room, went for the rabbit hole with YouTube vids as I didn’t understand all the deliberately confusing acronyms.

      • Not always, might look better but the cons keep me away from buying one, burn in etc.

the os on this is far better then lg/samsung as they get the apps first and the latest updates as all the apps are just the android phone apps modified, not only that but the google voice assistant works really well too.

      • I must say that android os for TVs can be slow than the OS that most Samsungs and Lgs use on their TVs . Apps can be buggy with android tv. So I wouldn’t say one is better than other as far as the apps are available .

Try LG 75qned85 (2022) if you want a bigger tv or a tv for a brighter room.
I have ordered this one. Got a good deal but not as great as above. I liked the LG TV better though with more dimming zones.

  • Is the C835 much different or better than last years C825?
The compare section on the TCL webpage doesn't give much. Is there much advantage of google TV compared to Android?

  • I had an awful experience with a brand new TCL TV - died after a few hours. Never again, TCL.

    • I've had bad experience with nearly every tv I've owned, Sony, Samsung & Hisense. My next tv will be this tcl in 65"
