$200 worth of batteries alone in this deal

    • They are $140 each now a bunnings. I must resist

well, no one is paying 140 each for a 4ah battery…….

    • Debatable whether the remaining stuff is worth $200 however.

      • Skin by itself is usually $200 so its prob around a little bit of a bargain

Have a look at this if you want more of a kit too https://sydneytools.com.au/product/dewalt-dck2050e2txe-18v-1….

Multi tool comes free via redemption and your getting a nice small yet very capable set of impact and drill plus new power stack batteries as well.

Seems like there's 2 x 4.0Ah batteries in op's post compared to roughly 2 x 2.0Ah batteries in the Sydney tools deal. Not bad if you want to load up your arsenal, though!

      • These are their latest batteries, more power and less weight in the 1.7ah Powerstack due to the design. Run time will obviously be less but mine charge in about 15 mins so not bad.

        • +2

And from what I've researched, you get twice as many recharge cycles compared to the standard XR 4ah so technically you get about the same amount of total stored power over the life of the battery as each other, just shorter runtimes between charges in the powerstack.

    • How can we redeem the multi tool as i can not see any option online? Cheers

Go to guaranteedtough.com.au - that's the site you do the redemption through. I tried clicking through and selecting Sydney Tools - the redemption offer came up. It's always worth double checking as on rare occasions the store puts the label on the wrong product, I've been burned before.

It's a great deal! Wish i never saw it cos i bought one lmao. Having been in the dewalt eco for quite some time now (years) and been waiting on a decent deal on this set. What made me jump was the tstack case which will fit with my others. Great value!

Clever things to do with an Oscillating Multi-Tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUnRJbS-Qk4

  • Apparently it is the older model to DCS356, not sure what the difference is though!
