UBank (NAB) have just advised us of a update to the PURCHASE & REFINANCE rebate effective today between 1st December 2022 and 28 February 2023 (inclusive) and settled by 30 April 2023.

UBank will be offering their cashback amount for both Purchases and Refinances up to 80% LVR. See cashback breakdown below:
• $250,000 / $1,000,000 = $4,000
• $1,000,000+ = $5,000

• P&I Variable 60% LVR - 4.49% (Comp Rate: 4.51%)
• P&I Variable 70% LVR - 4.54% (Comp Rate: 4.61%)

    Just wasted 4 hours on ubank over 2 days.
    What a shambles at that bank at the moment. The only good thing was the interest rates for savings, but now they've fallen behind.
    I have taken all of my money away from them, but what a mission to achieve that.
    Not all of my transactions are showing online - I wonder why that is? It's like I never existed.

    As these rates are the same as the one advertised on the UBank website is there any advantage to going with a broker (aside from the broker specific cashback)?

      We can sometimes get your sharper rate than if you go directly with the bank and able to waive some fees.

        hi Wilson, just one question, why your App is so shit, the other day i couldn't login and now i cant see my transactions !!!! i put $1k+ this morning and i can't see the transaction and the interest is not activated either, even though the money is there. then i put couple of more hundreds, still nothing.

          Hey Harsh, not too sure about the App. I dont run Ubank, just a mortgage broker with access to 45 different lenders so if you dont like ubank, we have plenty alternatives.

    How do they value property? what if you are borderline 60%.

    What are the total fees (application, valuation etc) charged by Ubank to setup the loan?

      It usually a desktop or AVM (free of charge). Sometimes they will send some over to check it out if the LVR is high (like around or above 80%).

      Approval takes 2-3 business days
      Refinance take around 3-5 weeks
      Rebates paid within 60 days of settlement
