This whole fuel discount getting complicated. Shell with BudgetDirect Fuel that you could stack flybuys plus 10 cents.
Ampol has 6 cents for welcome offers if pay via app, some Ampol take rewards as 4cents off and some don't. Shopback has promo 6% of giftcard for Ampols cash, but can't stack with 6 cents in App. BPreward with Qantas for extra FF points. 7-11 with Velocity and locked rateCorrect :) think we need to do a WIKI on OzB on Australian fuel discounts.

Normally, yes, but sometimes my local EG is cheapest, once you factor in 4c off and using WISH gift cards at 4% off (vs 7 Eleven best price less 2% cashback using HSBC debit).
Where can you get WISH cards at 4% off?
You can get them at a 5% discount if you have access to the NSW or VIC Seniors discount.
I believe you can get them at a 5% discount if you have access to an APOD discount, but I have not confirmed this.
I am curious to see where you can get WISH cards at a 4% discount, because I cannot think of any other discounted gift card portals. The discounted gift card wiki does not show anything.
Can I use Ampol gift cards on EG?
You can use AmpolCash physical gift cards at EG.
You cannot use AmpolCash Digital gift cards at EG, because:
EG Ampol do not have the correct type of barcode scanners to read the 2-D barcodes used for AmpolCash Digital gift cards.
EG Ampol's POS system is not configured to allow the redemption of AmpolCash Digital gift cards. Its POS system was developed back when Woolworths Group operated Woolworths Petrol stations, and EG does not seem that interested in putting in time or effort to update the POS system. To be fair, EG was at war with Ampol for most of the time they have been operating the former Woolworths Petrol stations, so there is that too…
