Cheapest in the last 30 days was $31.49 from Nov 20-26
I also use this PB and I can never get 20k MaH out of it, maybe 15 at best but I'll need to crack one open.

Power loss in travelling from battery to phone and during stand by. All powerbank actual output will always be lesser than rated capacity.

    • +12

I mentioned this in another deal. Power bank cells are 3.6V or 3.7V while the output is measured at 5V.

      So typically the conversion is 5V Capacity = 3.7V x 20000mAh / 5V = 14800mAh

      15Ah seems accurate.

      • -15-20% loss ontop of that for upping voltage to QC / etc levels

I think OP is implying a 25% loss which is above the standard 15-20% seen

        • Yes there's power loss too due to the conversion and IC used. I didn't get that vibe given he thought it was 15Ah and wanted to open to check.

I got a few of these, and the 30000mah ones. Works as intended, and for the price I can't really complain, got the ones with the digital LED read out, so you know exactly how much % battery is left, and how's fast its charging/discharging as you can change it to show volt @ amps.

https://www.amazon.com.au/ROMOSS-20000mAh-Portable-External-… -> This one comes with a digital read out, but its otherwise as the in this post, $35.99

You may face issues taking anything above 20,000mAh on aircraft. I remember in 2019 in Thailand, the customs officers were taking them off passengers going through screening. Every airline and airports seems to have their own restrictions, so likely something worth checking if you are planning on flying with these.

      • +1

Yeah all of them blindly impose a 100w powerbank limit. Although it should be cell voltage x capacity which is 3.7v x 20000mAh on this one == 74W.

        • Correct. 26800mAh is just below 100Wh.

    • Are they both the same dimensions. I have an old 20000 Mah ROMOSS powerbank so wondering if they’re the same size as well

    • is there any difference besides the screen?

      • +1

I think they are the same, except the screen. So you just pay a lil bit extra so you know what's happening, and how charged it is. Like 1 LED dot could mean, 1% or 25% charge. So its more accurate with the LED screen.

  • Any recommendations for a 5000 or 10000 mAh power bank within a mini body?

  • Any recommendations for a really light 25w or more, wireless +usb c +usb a pack… that is around 10000 to 20000?

Samsungs 25w, wireless 2xusb c is the closest i can find.

  • 20ah?

  • Is it normal for a PB to make a faint noise while fast charging my phone? Hard to explain how it sounds, maybe a light hissing noise ? I don’t recall it always making it so maybe it’s stuffed? It’s a romoss one, with the digital display. Google gives mixed answers from its normal to its going to explode

  • Will this get here before christmas…sayd Jan delivery…anyone know where its shipped from?…Thanks

  • Not sure about this one but I have the SW20 and it charges my phone at 5V 0.1A, yes that low and I am the original usb-c to lightning cable, same if using the usb -c to lightning from Baesus, so for iPhone I have to use the usb a to lightning to get 5V and 2A charging

    • What voltage? Maybe a faulty tester not allowing negotiation?

  • +2

It's saying $36.54 for me after applying 15% of voucher.

  • +2

I bought this one instead due to higher Wattage for a little bit more. The 15% voucher is also applicable:

    • So 20w instead of 18w?

  • +1

Bought one a few days ago, one thing I noticed I charge it to 6 leds, a day later its on 5 leds (without use). twice now.

  • $45.89 for the 30,000
