I'm travelling to Japan + Korea in late January and was thinking of exchanging AUD over in the destination countries and using my ubank card for contactless payments.
Has anyone had any experience using your ubank debit/spend card overseas? What were the exchange rates like?

I'm going to Korea next year and from what I have read you can pretty much forget using your foreign card to tap and pay. You'll have to insert your card and scribble a signature on the screen instead.
