  • Checked all the major retailers and they're all out of stock. I can't even be sure they had any to begin with - e.g PCCaseGear has like 6 different models for the XTX and they're all out of stock.

can add it to your cart, but then when you try check out you get
" Unfortunately the Gigabyte Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB RDNA 3 is currently sold out and has been removed from your cart - please check back later!"

1800 is out of my budget though, I feel 1600 would be about right given the cost of it in the US is 999 (which technically should include US tax? (that's 1460 AUD- guess once you add GST thats 1600 - and then there is the australian tax which seems to be about 200 based on the current prices IE they seem to be going for just shy of 1800)

    • Yanks don't include any sales tax.

Ours are still about $90 USD more after removing taxes though.

200 aud = Australian tax…ie we pay more just cause it's selling in Australia

    Nope, prices are stupid !

    • yeah i rekon the 7800 should be around 1K which would be better, but man i can remember when you could get top tier graphics cards for 500 odd bux… got my 5870 AND Vega 64 for that much…

      that wasnt THAT long ago…

Check reviews, it's no big deal :/

    • seems decent enough if you a due for a card anyways though… might be ideal to wait for a sub 1k 6950?

      • Guess it all depends on what you are chasing!

RTX still better on 4080 as is most 4k gaming ..

7900XTX might improve with drivers, so a bit of a gamble ..

        • 4080 better ONLY if you want to use ray tracing…
For everything else, AUD$200 saving, similar performance

They're already having to slash the prices on 4080 because nobody wants the "second best card" at the premium price, when you can now get similar performance cheaper, that fits in your case, and doesn't require a new power supply.

AMD will absolutely improve performance with drivers, they always do release hardware first and play software catchup, even in the previous generation.

The market has "accepted" AMD"s offerings, that's why they're sold out, and 4080's are in discount mode, unable to get them off the shelves two weeks before Christmas.. tells you they screwed up somewhere.

I just put my pre order though.

Figure id is 28 degree price protection…. or scalp it one of the two :'D

(I'll be using it for gaming)

    • It looks like there are much more ASUS reference cards out there than any other supplier. I know people that ordered through CentreCom and their orders were switched from Gigabyte ref models to the ASUS model due to stock issues. I'd much prefer ASUS if I were buying.

These seem like awesome cards for steady 4K gaming in a smaller form factor for ITX builds. Very tempted.

  • Damn….

Please be advised that due to a system glitch we have oversold the ASUS 7900XTX MBA GPU. This is unfortunately an order we don't believe we will be able to fill in the next month (or perhaps ever).

A refund will be processed today with funds expected to arrive back into your account within 1-2 business days.

Non-MBA 7900XTX Models will be arriving weekly for the remainder of 2022, ETA's will be set as shipment information has been provided by manufacturers.

  • CentreCom have restocked the Sapphire Reference XTX but have jacked the price up $50!
    Unreal!
