Save $20 on online orders at 99Bikes.com.au ($40 min spend). Plus we'll ship it to you for free!
Just use the coupon code: 20off40
Offer expires 11th of July 2012
update The system should only accept one coupon per user. It looks like it's been extra generous and giving out more. So Just to keep things fair, please only use it once :)
update 2. To make it double clear - if you use the coupon code twice, we'll only be honouring the first use.

When I try to click on any of the lube … it redirects to the product page. I've tried on both Chrome and Firefox.
99BikesWebstore on 10/07/2012 - 18:03 ¶I had to remove from the website because it's a dangerous good and we can't send in an Express Post bag.
The courier we need to use for the dangerous goods make it too expensive.Sorry!

Yea, the GPS 500 is also excellent value, just over $300 and comes with cadence and Heart Rate Monitor as well…
Have you considered paying 0.99c for Endomondo app on your phone? You can then buy an extra HRMonitor for $120, then can do cycling and about 20 other exercises all monitored through my phone and it's GPS.
99BikesWebstore on 10/07/2012 - 21:55 ¶We've been selling a truck load of Forerunner 910XTs :)
500s are the second most popular.
99BikesWebstore on 10/07/2012 - 21:53 ¶Clothing is a hard one. I'm trying to get the basics working well before expanding the clothing range.
It's coming in the future!
-1 vote99BikesWebstore on 11/07/2012 - 09:40 ¶There was a problem with the coupon working more than once per user. I'm trying to fix it up now.
jamestownfx on 11/07/2012 - 10:52 ¶Thanks OP, let us know when its back up again, looking to buy as well.
+1 votejamestownfx on 11/07/2012 - 15:18 ¶Hopefully the OP comes back with an update… + if you are waiting to buy like me!

Have 4 items in my cart ready to purchase. with the discount it'd come to $85.50.
I got sick of waiting for 99bikes to revive their discount code so I went to cellbikes.com.au and made the same order and it came to $75.81 delivered. without using any discount codes. cellbikes has the same products at a cheaper price.
if the discount code was pulled early from people abusing it and using it multiple times per order, then fair enough, but 99bikes shouldve been aware of this and implemented a safeguard against this. a fair few people are waiting to make an order. I dont think its fair to make customers wait.
so im giving this a neg based on the discount being pulled early, and for finding the same products cheaper elsewhere.
goodluck with this deal
jamestownfx on 12/07/2012 - 08:56 ¶I emailed them yesterday to take up the offer once fixed, just waiting on a reply. Epic fail from the OP to just suddenly disappear. Some communication would be great.
99BikesWebstore on 12/07/2012 - 13:05 ¶Update
Ok this got out of hand quickly.
The tldr; version:
- The coupon system broke
- We were swamped with orders
Longer version:
For some reason (still trying to work it out) the coupon system was not limiting the use to one per user.
In the future we'll need to get this fixed up.The purpose of this promo was to test out our order processing systems. Within a few hours we received a weeks worth of orders. It's taken a few longs days just to catch up.
I would have loved to run it longer, but it quickly got very expensive (taking into account free shipping etc).
I'm sorry to the people who missed out. Hope you can understand this was a screw up on my part. Our previous promotions never got this big! I should have also added more terms and conditions to make it clearer we might need to stop at any time.
Regards
Cameron
+4 votesIt is a shame you had to cut it short. The OzBargain community is a big one and good deals get swamped very quickly; lesson learned! Perhaps it would be honourable to Private Message a different voucher code to those who genuinely missed out due to OP error:

killperryIn return these OzBargainers agree to use the voucher once, only once and not to distribute it in any way shape or form!
Thoughts Cameron?
jamestownfx on 12/07/2012 - 20:59 ¶Couldn't agree more killperry… a bit ripped off if they do nothing…

Well my order arrived today - 22 Endura gels for $20 (and came express post) - absolute bargain! Looks like I got lucky. One criticism would be that they weren't packed very well - just in an envelope and one split, covering the rest in sweet sticky goodness. Resisted the strong temptation to use the voucher more than once
99BikesWebstore on 16/07/2012 - 13:44 ¶I'm sorry to hear that! Send through an email and I'll send out a replacement.
jamestownfx on 16/07/2012 - 11:24 ¶Still have not heard anything from 99 Bikes… any luck killperry?
99BikesWebstore on 16/07/2012 - 13:37 ¶What email did you send to? Send through to cameron.smith@99bikes.com.au and I'll make sure I reply.
jamestownfx on 16/07/2012 - 17:47 ¶Are you honouring the deal for those that missed out as suggested by killperry?

Am in two minds about negging this. I understand where they were coming from that they wanted to control the demand. OTOH, from my perspective because they'd said this was valid to the 17th so I'd been waiting to the weekend to see whether I should get something or not.
If they'd said there was a limit, fair enough if you meet it or miss out. But here it was advertised as one thing (valid to the 17th) but then not delivered on.
99BikesWebstore on 16/07/2012 - 13:40 ¶Like I said before, I didn't run this promo very well. I've learnt my lesson and will add more conditions (limiting uses etc).
Should be better next time :)

I recieved my 2 gp4000s tyres within the week despite using the code twice(I ordered before your update) . $56 delivered for both which is less than half price from any bricks and mortar store near me . Thank you , I'll definitely check out your site for future purchases and look forward to any other specials you post here .
