Has Anyone Had Experience with Kogan Laptops?

Looking for a budget laptop that I can bring along on my holiday just for casual browsing and maybe transferring some photos to my hard drive. Currently looking at this:

Member from 2019 should know kogan.

  • Never buy from Kogan if you want a happy life.

      Correction: not the kogan brand.
Others are still okay if they re really cheap.
I had bought many xiaomi stuffs from kogan and yes they are cheaper than aliexpress for exact same items and arrives in 4 days.

      But avoid kogan brands

Check out the CPU to make sure you will be happy with it's lack of performance.

    Another option is:
    a) Tablet for browsing
    b) 128GB micro sd card for your phone to store photo's.

  • always good to start by looking at the negative reviews to see what issues there might be with a product

  • It's only a $399 laptop, no need to bash Kogan, just like any other $399 laptop it will work till next major window update.

To be fair, my Kogan monitors have been a gamble that's paid off.

I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, and I'll be very suspicious of a Kogan laptop until they've got quite a lot more proven reliability (or otherwise measurably better total value than any other competent brand).

  • This is complete and utter junk for $400, everything about it is trash. Display TRASH, EMMC SSD TRASH, N4020 Celeron TRASH. Using a cheap phone for a heavy workload would be a better experience.
Wait and search, it will pay off. Or buy a refurb from one of Ozbargain deals.

Thanks, I opted to go with the Chromebook Duet. Nothing fancy, has decent reviews for what I need
