  For those wondering where the VESA holes are, it's on an adaptor plate that comes with the monitor. It attaches to the same mounting point as the stand.

    Dahua are the world's second-largest manufacturer of CCTV equipment. I imagine these were designed to connect to their DVRs. I wouldn't be surprised if many of them are running 24/7.

    They work fine with computers too; I bought a few of their 32" models for use at work. Great value.

    I have one of these which I use a second monitor for when I'm working from home. Actually pretty good for the price, screen is decent and quite comfortable to look at all day. I would recommend, especially since it has 3 year warranty as well.
