      $40 can buy another 4GB RAM => DS is a better deal!

    The Dicksmith deal is better imo. Its the L850-0C9 version. My experience wasn't good. I bought one and the machine gave up the ghost the next day. Basically failed POST and nothing would work. I am probably not in a frame of mind to take the chance of getting a dud again.
