  • Does anyone know what the TBW is on sd cards ?

    • +1

Not sure but pretty sure it's a 10 year warranty rated at 10,000 mating cycles. However, warranty doesn't apply to dashcams and surveillance etc.

On another note I just bought one of these 2 days ago from Scorptec for $43 and I thought that was a good deal.

Thanks, got the ebay one, down to $24 with monthly $5 off.

    • where can eBay Plus members find this $5 monthly voucher?

      • +6

go to your ebay summary, should be there if you've been a member for more than a month already

    • My monthly voucher says minimum $50 purchase, anyone else having same issue?

      • I dont get any $5 ebay plus monthly voucher but for some reason i get ebay plus free for life. Havent been paying since it started

        • Remember sometime to call customer service to say thanks. They really don’t get enough credit, and every little bit helps morale

Does it work well with switch?

    • +1

the US Listing says its compatible

    • +2

Has anyone found a MicroSD card that doesn't work with a Switch yet?

      • This doesn’t stop people asking the same question. Every. Single. Time.

        • I’m asking if it works WELL tho, like how does it compare to the “official” cards

          • +2

@bri11iant-y: The offical cards are a scam. Regular cards with label stamped on it.

            • @PainToad: Thanks

              • @bri11iant-y: I ran a sandisk ultra and extreme 256gb in my orignianl switch as the samsung cards have a risk to brick the orignial 2016 switch but i belive thag issie is gone, not to worry if you have a newer make. Also yeah the offical was a stciker scam but also to "protect" buyers killing switches from fake or samsung cards

                • @BinChicken69: If the device is "bricked" because of expandable memory cards, then I think it's the device's problem 🤔

                  • @Scythic: It was a common issue witht e og 2016 switch, it is suspected it wa s a planned issue to sell more sandisk but it was never confirmed. You cpuld say it was a device fault but it was every 2016 model

                    • @BinChicken69:

The Nintendo Switch is a hybrid video game console developed by Nintendo and released worldwide in most regions on March 3, 2017.

Crazy that there are 2016 models when it was released in 2017.

                      • @CodeXD: I know its weird but they were manufactured in 2016 mine was one of those models and the mainboard said 2016 too

                        • @BinChicken69: I bought my switch in 2017 and it had samsung 128gb mcirosd card from 2018 til when I upgraded to 400gb sandisk. Never had an issue.

    • Definitely compatible. I haven't used it myself but am looking to get one for that purpose. Based on my (brief) research so far, it's one of the top recommended for Switch, and the read/write speeds are suitable.

  • Is this card compatible with GoPros recording in 4k?
    Thanks

    • US Listing says compatible with action cameras in general

"Whether you are documenting your child’s sporting events, sharing memories with friends, vacationing with family, transferring music, storing files, or filming the action on your latest extreme outdoor adventure, you can rest assured in the reliability of your Samsung Micro card. Works with your compatible camera, action camera, cell phone, smartphone, gaming console, instant camera, laptop, tablet, desktop, Android phones, drone, trail camera, security camera, dash cam, or other device"

  • Keen to know if it works with Nintendo Switch too here. Thanks

      It's compatible with switch

    • Why wouldn’t it be.

Here's the official line from nintendo

      https://www.nintendo.com.au/support/articles/which-microsd-c…

They recommend UHS-I and 60-95mb/s transfer speed (or the higher the better) which this exceeds.

I use this exact one in my switch and its pretty responsive.

  • Quick buy using the $5 coupon and all those gift cards amassed from recent ShopBack promotions.

  • My ebay plus $5 voucher requires purchase of over $50. Is it the same for others as well?

    • +1

I had two $5 off Plus voucher codes: code starting "MYPLUS" had the $50 minimum spend, code starting "PLUS5C" had $15 minimum spend.

      • I only have MYPLUS :(

    • There’re two kind of $5 vouchers, one is $5 off with $15, another one is $5 off with $50. I’ve received them both sometimes. $5 off $50 was more common in pre 2022’s membership benefits IIRC

  • Thanks, picked one up for $24 with the ebay plus $5 discount

  • -4

Pre loaded with mailware courtesy of your local ccp wumao

  • Sold out while I was looking for the $5 voucher that apparently doesn't exist :(

  • Are these okay for Blackvue dashcams?

Any sub $100 deals for a 1tb need one for a steam deck

Dang, all out of stock, and Amazon is back up to $45. Looks like I missed this one. Great deal

    • +1

Back in stock on ebay at $29 (less with the deal mentioned by OP)

  • +1

Plenty available in store at Liverpool Orange Grove

  • Anyone’s actually shipped from bing lee as yet?

    • +1

If yours hasn't shipped yet, I'm afraid the news is not good. This was what I was told by Bing Lee:

      "Thank you for your enquiry

Unfortunately, Model: MB-MC256KA is currently still on order with the supplier.

The stock was estimated to have arrived earlier; however this has been pushed back with an ETA of late February to early March"

      • Cheers, I shoulda just bought from Amazon lol

To be fair I’m not in any rush

  • I have messaged binglee more than once via ebay and got told it will take 3 weeks but it still hasn't arrived yet. Why no stock when they still selling on ebay?

  • Mine has finally shipped!
