Just note these are heavier, smaller and more convoluted to setup than a medium Coolcabana.

The main difference is coolcabanas have a single centre leg vs 4 on the Supacentre one. Supacentre one comes with a sidewall which the Coolcabana does not.

This is $100 cheaper though so can't complain too much.

  • The funny thing about cababa is that the shade is never under the cabana. You are constantly adjusting your chair/beach towel outside the cabana as the sun moves. lol
I usually carry both Coolcabana and Pop up tent. If you really want to snooze for an hour or two, tent is your best friend.

    • This happens less the closer you are to the equator.

The measurement for this is 1.8m x 1.8m.
    It is a tad small

    Cheap….for a mini gazebo.

I like how manufacturers are jumping on the Coolcabana bandwagon and making similiar knockoffs, but this King Cabana Dun Shade is really a gazebo. 4 legs in the corner hidden by the shade cloth.

Not that there is anything wrong with the design, but just hate the labelling and marketing.

Every Kings thing I've owned has ended up in the landfill within a year, with the exception of the solar panels on top of my caravan which I haven't bothered to remove even though they have delaminated and only put out about a quarter of the amps as they did when new (18 months old now). This cabana looks like cheap junk and is likely no better quality than what you'd get at kmart for the same price. Kmart will be much less hassle to deal with when it inevitably fails and you want a refund.

This all day. The only good thing Kings make is the big daddy swag. Everything else only exists to keep the bin collectors on Fraser Island employed.

Don’t buy it. It will snap when someone coughs nearby.

  • I was in the south coast of NSW recently and saw a lot of “cabanas “ including a new one I purchased on the same day from Myer break and fall apart due to winds .

I also noticed one standing tall and went to see that it was a cool cabana .

Mine was about 80 dollars price range and coolcabanas are a lot more expensive for me to buy.

I think the design with a pole in the Center isn’t best to relax under .

Don’t know how this one would perform under similar conditions. My 2 cents.

  • Great for nudists to stop their kabana getting sunburnt.

  • FALSE ADVERTISING
This is not a cabana; it's a marquee with the poles sneakily hidden by canvas extensions to make it look like a cabana (which has a single pole at the centre, and is held down by filling the corner pockets with sand).
