Slay the Spire is great. If I didn't own it on 2 platforms already, I'd definitely buy it at that price

Amazing game. Bought it on PlayStation, then again on Android.

Going on holiday in a couple of months… looking forward to the 8 hour flight as an opportunity for a solid block of Slay The Spire :D

8 hour flight with Slay the Spire? That's a 4 hour flight right there

Check out Slice and Dice. Different conceptually but occupies the same 'damn this game is simple but good' place in my head.

      • I'll look into that, thanks!
Have you seen Wildfrost? Looks good too

        • Thanks ill have a gander

Thanks for sharing. Bought "Slay the Spire" to play on Steam Deck. Had some issues launching initially but this fix worked - https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/m3y2p9/unable…

Literally just made an account now to recommend Slay the Spire - sitting at 400+ hours played, 100% achievements, and I still regularly play it. Unreal value for $12.

In terms of other 'pocket money' (<$20) level deals that I would recommend while I'm here:

    • Mark of the Ninja was a very enjoyable game - has a small amount of replay value, but successfully scratched the 2D stealth itch for me.
    • While not on the curated ATL list, Darkest Dungeon for $5.39 is also a great price. Can be a little stressful (no pun intended)
    • Star Renegades ($14.39) is a criminally underrepresented turn-based roguelike with a lot of replayability and a good dose of strategy in the fights.
    • The Steamworld titles are all generally enjoyable and offer a variety of genres across the catalogue - particularly recommend the Dig games.

Edit: For anyone interested in Superhot and fine to have it on Steam - currently $8.49 on Fanatical compared to $14.39 at GOG.

Another huge Slay the Spire fan here, can't recommend it enough for fans of rogue lites, strategy, deckbuilding or card games. It's just excellent, so well balanced and thought out and almost endlessly replayable.

  • Toge Productions joins Fresh Indie Sale with their titles up to -70%!

Toge Productions, an Indonesian based independent game development and publishing studio, continues to give us awesome games that we love to play since 2009! In fact, in just two days, on January 20th, they will be celebrating their 14th anniversary. And true to their Indonesian name, meaning “bean sprout”, Toge has always believed that great accomplishments can start from small and simple beginnings, just like bean sprouts. Not only that, bean sprouts grow fast and are quick to adapt too.

That’s why we are more than happy to join their celebration and announce that incredible Toge Production titles are now part of our Fresh Indie Sale and will be available with discounts up to -70% until January 25th, 11 PM UTC.

Don’t miss their beloved games like a side-scrolling adventure Rage in Peace (-70%), heavy-metal action roguelike Rising Hell (-30%), immersive and story rich visual novel Coffee Talk (-33%), and of course more!

And not only that, make sure to mark your calendars and check in tomorrow for A Space for the Unbound release on GOG! This excellent title is a slice-of-life adventure game with beautiful pixel art, set in the late 90s rural Indonesia that tells a story about overcoming anxiety, depression, and the relationship between a boy and a girl with supernatural powers.

You’ll follow two high school sweethearts, Atma and Raya, on a journey of self-discovery at the end of their high school years. When a mysteriously supernatural power is suddenly unleashed threatening their existence, they must explore and investigate their town to uncover hidden secrets, face the end of the world, and perhaps learn more about each other.

It’s also a great time to play a demo of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly. This sequel to the highly-praised and atmospheric game about listening to people’s problems and helping them by serving up a warm drink will let you revisit your favorite late-night coffee shop and reconnect with your fantasy friends. You jump into the skin of a barista, and while your customers aren't always humans, you can listen to their stories and influence their hearts with a warm beverage.

Full version of the game is coming soon to GOG so make sure to wishlist it HERE.

Make sure to check out the discounted Toge Production titles, as well as other gems within the Fresh Indie Sale. Allow yourself to immerse in the indie games’ magic.
