  • Amazon does not ship the replacement blades -HQ9 to Australia..just had my sister bring me some from the states, as @ The Shaver Shop they want more than $60 for replacement blades. Makes this a GOOD deal.
Been using this for @ least 1 year, as a upgrade from older Phillips shaver. Paid $199 local price, (ouch). Gives me a close, clean shave in bout 2 min, and I have thick black facial hair. A daily shave works better than leaving it for a few. Triple blades seems to be a improvement from previous unit .

    • if that is the case, wouldnt this be a better option ?

Philips Norelco Speed XL Shaver 8245XLD - SPECIAL VALUE Includes Extra Shaving Head Pack
      for US $125

    • Use a mail forwarding service for stuff that Amazon won't ship here (eg. Shipito).

    • Sure they do, I just shipped a spare set of HQ9 blades from Amazon to Australia for my dads razor. Also shipped a 1250x Norelco for my self.

This is the link for the replacement blades. Shipping is less that $6 if I remember

      • Looks like you can now.. When I tried months ago,
We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.
Others have seen the same message.. Looks like they can't decide :/

  • Cutthroat razors are the best. It's cheap and closest a man can get.

  • Would the charger work since US has different voltage??

    • +2

All electric shavers have variable voltages. Otherwise how would you use it when you travel overseas. You will need a plug conversion though.

      • Many sockets in bathrooms (e.g. in hotels) are multi-pin compatible, so the plug conversion is not always required. That said, the battery lasts long enough in mine that I rarely even take the charger.

  • Shame, expired.

  • There are still 6 in stock but when I tried to order I got the following message
We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.

I used aU.S. ip as well but it still would not ship to Oz

    • The original deal was probably from Amazon themselves and they have sold out. The current default seller is eGoodies and many of the other sellers either don't ship outside of NA or charge a fricken fortune to do so.

  • Price: $77.79 ($1.52 / oz)

(gone up) Interesting unit pricing system at Amazon.

    • I always buy my shavers by the ounce. I also recently went to my car dealer and asked how many stones per dollar of car I was getting, and how many fluid ounces per furlong of fuel it used.
