  • This is a good price for them. Same in white are $449 from Mannys https://www.mannys.com.au/krk-rokit-rp5g4-5-studio-monitors-…

I ended up buying the RP7G4's instead for $599. They sound awesome.

  • 2 x pair?

EBay store price also need to matched, please.

Just beware that for some reason they still use Aramex as their carrier. First such delivery a while back I only received one speaker and waited over a week for the second to be tracked down, plus a recent delivery was a keyboard packed so poorly that the box was squashed upon receipt.

Thanks for pointing this out. Getting anything through Aramex (formerly known as Fastway) is a nightmare.

We do have both Aust Post & FedEx (TNT) options as well, you can request during checkout.

        • Good to hear and literally saves the deal IMO. Hopefully Aramex isn't your default carrier, otherwise expect some angry customers.

  • These are great as casual speakers too. They don't need to be used as studio monitors.

    • Yep, they're far better as regular speakers than they are as supposed "studio monitors."

  • For predicted questions or comments about using these as regular speakers: For sure they sound fine for non-audio production music listening, but they are designed to be work tools first and foremost. Compared to regular Hi-Fi speakers, they may disappoint, so don't go in expecting them to do something they're not designed to do. They also need to be positioned correctly for the best results. That means an equilateral triangle between the two speakers and your head, and they need to be at ear height (or at least pointed toward your ears).
