Thanks OP, CR also has 13% cb.

    • Damn forget CR. Can I cancel the order and reorder?

    • Checking app now but it looks like 13% only on specific products.
      Disregard. 13% standard rate applied.

Lots of other models reduced for $49-69 if these aren't stocked or your style. I bought HOVR 5 to try out. Thanks OP!

    • I almost forgot it!
      Thanks :)

    • Thank you for reminding about CR. Got $4.7 back which covers about half the shipping.

  • Any idea what the normal price is?

    • -1

      $39.99 ^
      Was $119.99

      • +4

lmao, no one is paying $120 for these. these should be 79.99 at most.

        • +1

these should be 79.99 at most.

Personally I would give the extra cent but anything over $80.00 and I'll leave them be.

    • +1

looks like $80 from UA website

  • +15

Quality is not great. i bought it and it looks cheap

    • Already bought one, hopefully will last at least a year!

      • You should of got 2
I always buy my shoes in pairs works out better than way.
Maybe you only have one leg ?

    • +5

Not to nitpick but there’s a big difference between looking and actually being built cheap (quality wise).

So do they just look cheap in quality or are they actually poor quality?

      • Look cheap and you will feel the cheap quality when you will wear it.
As a spare one it should be fine.

        • +2

All good. Not keen on them myself but was more for others as to whether they just looked cheap or were actually cheaply made.

    • -1

looks cheap in the pic.. kmart qual

    • -1

might explain why Andy Murray has a metal hip now

  • +2

what about the hovr sonic 5 any better quality? https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/under-armour-hovr-sonic-5-me…

    • +2

I got the eshay bahh flavour,

      https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/under-armour-hovr-machina-2-….

Hope I will be allowed into Perth nightclubs with these on.

      • +1

Assuming you arent just rolled for them…

      • Bruh, not all non-black shoes are 'eshay bahh' ffs

        • They are black shoes and eshays do wear them.. not entirely sure this is the best example to prove your point.

        • +1

But they have a tiny bit of red on them brah

      • +2

Biggest mistake here is going to a Perth nightclub.

    • Good tip! Available for delivery to me in Vic in size 14s, thanks!!

    • +2

Hovr Sonic 5 in Black is $10 cheaper. Hovr would be UA's more premium running shoes, i.e. better quality but it's also quite a bit heavier than Charged Rogue 3.

      • Why do these shoes have a battery warning on them?

        • +1

They have a bluetooth chip in the HOVR range to connect with your phone “map my run” app by UA.
I’m still tossing up if the BT thing is of value or whether it’s a redundant gimmick when you have a smart watch.
I have too many runners and it didn’t feel nearly as good as the NB 1080p when I tried the sonic5 on
          /3am rant 🤷‍♂️

    • These are a fairly new style, but Ive seen the being cleared pretty early on.

    • +1

Got these (though in the black colourway) and am very happy with the comfort and support. Went half a size up from my usual size due to previous UA purchase being a little snug.

  • -7

Thanks but i got new shoes for Christmas.

    • +6

It's not like anyone offered them to you or that you are required to purchase one of each item listed here. Just saying

    • Already had enough towels?

  • -4

    No stock anywhere for me.

    • -5

Haha! Down voted for reporting status. Pls down vote this too, never change OzB.

    • For me, it's pay $8 delivery or drive 15KM to the nearest store with stock. Hmm…

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got a pair.

  • Anyone know what the sizing is like compared to Nike shoes?

    • +1

they have a size guide on the website which shows comparisons between brands.

  • I assume these are no good for wide feet?

    • Was thinking the same, but most likely

  • +2
  • Only up to size 13 (Australian). ☹️

    • its always difficult for me, I need size 14 :(

      • Same here.
Shoes stop at 13 at least 99% of the time.

  • +1

a pair for me, and a pair for the boy….😂

  • +2

Mandatory shoes to wear at Northern Beaches Sydney.

  • -1

UA makes thin blue line clothing so they can get in the bin.

  • Thanks OP, got one. $43 delivered after CR. No stock to C&C but overall great deal.

  • great

  • Yeah… and we compared these prices to the "outlet" store at Uni Hill… still way cheaper in Rebel… They had some for kids as well, for school.

    • Outlet in Adelaide had stuff really cheap, including these cheap! But this rebel price is actually the cheapest ive seen!

  • Got one, thanks OP

  • +1

If you have access to reward gateway you can get Rebel eGift cards 10% off. However, cash rewards say:

Cashback is ineligible on purchase or redemption of gift cards.

And if you have school aged kids in NSW, Rebel does accept the back to school vouchers but only in store, not online.

    • I double-dipped with reward gateways 3.5% cashback as I didnt see any mention of GC's being an issue. An extra $2 in my pocket if it pays out.
(didn't risk the CR one, even though I wanted to!)

      • Should've done your way instead of CR!

        • A bit of a gamble, but you'll be in front if it pays out :)

  • Can anyone comment on what these are like for wide feet?

    • +2

I dont have wide feet and alot of the shoes feel tight, i own like 6-7 pairs but ive stopped buying now. I find other brands better for me.

  • +6

I own alot of UA, SHOE wise they're not up to the standard of Adidas, NB and Nike.

I love their clothes, but their shoes across the board from crossfit to runners dont have anywhere near the quality or comfort.

    https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/under-armour-hovr-sonic-5-me…

these might be okay, esp at that price and 13% cashback with c&C, it makes it pretty god dam cheap. These are their top of the range long distance runners.

    • Bought 1 runner lots of years ago, when they just started to make shoes I think. And it was like a brick, never bought shoes from them ever after lol.

  • Newb here. What's CR?

    • Cashrewards

  • Cool deal particularly with the cash rewards. Thanks for sharing.

Best case a decent runaround set of
Joggers. Worst case, fancy lawnmowing shoes

  • probably try to clear some shoes that will no longer be connected to MapMyRun, etc

Got this email message from UA last week:

We're reaching out to share an important update about your Under Armour connected shoes. At the end of 2023, Under Armour will no longer manufacture connected footwear. All current shoe connectivity to UA MapMyRun will end on March 31, 2025.

There was a lot that went into this decision, including extensive research of our connected footwear usage data as well as an evaluation of the entire marketplace. We want to assure you that the UA MapMyRun app will continue to be available and offers a variety of features to help make athletes better every day through challenges, workout routines, and training plans.

    We appreciate your understanding.

  • Cheddar app has 20% rewards but can’t find same shoe models

    • +1

Save them into your rebel wish list? That's what I did to easily get to them in the CR app.

  • I dont think this shoe has good arch support and stability, same as hovr sonic 5.
price is good, but i dont think thats suits the ppl who need above function.

    • HOVR Sonic 5 arch support seems pretty good to me. Very happy with the pair I bought, extremely comfortable and lighter than I was expecting. I bought a half size up because a previous UA pair of HOVRs I bought were a little snug.

  • Thanks mate. I got my 17th pair

  • +1

Thanks OP. Just got delivery confirmation email.

  • +2

Thanks, OP - order 3 pairs for the kids and me, cause I'm a cool parent ;)

Added a pair of Under Armour HOVR Sonic 5 Mens Running Shoes Black/Grey to get the order over $150 for free delivery. + 13% CR brought the price down to approx. $156. Not bad considering the RRP was around $540 for all 4 pairs.

  • if anybody with US11.5 in Sydney wanna swap with my US11, lmk

    • ended up exchanging at a different store

  • For those who wants to spent more than $100. Preeze has bonus offer: Purchase an AUD $100 The Super eGift Card and receive a bonus $15 The Super eGift Card.

    • Yeah. I thought of posting this same comment. However, for big spenders like "CrocDundee" (who commented above), if you buy >$150 (multiple pairs of shoes), the 13% cashback from CR (though capped at $50) would be better. Their total was $163.60 after deducting GST, so 13% cashback on that would be $21.27—- which is more than the extra $15 bonus Prezzee gift card. So, depends on how much you're buying, I guess! (NB. Using a gift card as payment invalidates CR's cashback, as already noted by someone above, so the discounts can't be stacked.)

      • I bought yesterday and got 13% CR, but I just checked today and it's 2.5% CR?

  • Purchased they feel good to me for 40$ can’t go wrong.
If they last me 6 months I wouldn’t complain nice and cheap.
