As much as some on Ozbargain like to find backdoors and rorts, this is an incentive to spend. From their dot points above:

If making a change of mind return for a refund of any items after purchase that would cause your charged value less return to fall below the $100 - the backpack must also be returned.

That is, if your spend falls below $100 ($101 including the $1 for the backpack) as a result of any returns then you must return it.

      Hope this helps.

      • Yeah there are no deals wirth getting in their site, much vetter ans cheaper items elsewhere so makes so don't view this as a deal.

Even if i kept the backpack which i reckon you can if it has a retail store, i would not attempt to support such a store

        • Your choice obviously. There are plenty of deals, just not to your liking. I've purchased from them before and they offered the best advertised price in Australia by a margin.

I don't understand your last sentence. It seems to be suggesting that you would like to take advantage of their generous offer without meeting the conditions?

Btw I didn't neg your comment. Would I be wrong in assuming you negged my reply above despite it giving you the information you requested?

          • @Igaf: Yeah i seem to have fat thumbs😂 clicked + and it did a -.
Was trying to say thanks for responding with info but can't seem to undo it on mobile, feel free to neg mine or will see if I can correct it when on a pc.

I used to fish before moving to Melbourne, used to get it from a retail shop in Hobart had great prices and great quality aswell so was just comparing the stuff to them.
Regarding my last comment I also felt like they intentionally put a high margin on some stuff just so they can say it is discounted by a bigger amount so it felt wrong to me

@michael9865: You should ignore RRPs certainly, esp on backpacks.

Takes a little time but it's simple enough to compare prices and work out approximate normal market prices, taking brands into account of course.
