    Nothing less than latest Macbook Pro fo $5-6k.
    Otherwise can't open stackexchange pages and copy/paste unverified code into the project.

    If you do CS at uni, sit at the front of the theatre and turn around, you'll see a sea of Macs.

      I did the entire course with windows.

      The macbooks had better battery life and the terminal was slightly useful until powershell came along

    Personally I have a Linux and Windows desktops, also run Linux VMs on both Windows and Linux, and run Windows VMs on Linux and Windows.

    Windows desktop, windows laptop, Linux laptop, MacBook Pro. Dual 27” monitors, and mech keyboard. And yes, I need and use all of them. Prefer Linux laptop with windows virtualised.
