OSD Issues with Philips 328P6V Monitor

Like many here, I purchased a new Philips 328P6V during the sale and have just set it up today. Every few minutes a different OSD menu pops up, sometimes telling me the input source, sometimes the resolutions or other irrelevant information.

The screen is connected to an M2 Mac Mini. Is anyone else having similar issues? The best I have been able to do is lock the monitor controls, this way the pop up at least disappears relatively quickly.

  • The capacitive tough buttons are triggering. Sounds like a warranty claim.
It is possible there is a strong interference source very close by?

    • Unfortunately I'm not sure what you mean with interference. I only have the mac mini on the desk and two logitech speakers, under the desk is the subwoofer.

  • is it that popup telling you to use 4k as an optimal resolution? If so, you can disable it in the menu system.

also, as @bargaino said, could be capactive buttons - give them a nice clean with some water and/or isopropyl

    • No. It shows all kind of menu. I'll try but I literally just took it out of the box.

  • What cable are you using?

    • Initially tried HDMI, but after having these issues i tried a USB C to DP

Im having the same issue with this monitor. Has been happening for months now, but im concerned its just going to get worse. The monitor outside of this seems to work fine.

I contacted philips and had it sent in for a repair. Shipped out on Monday, received it back yesterday but haven't tested it yet.
