  • when I goto checkout $4 shipping is added and I have ebay plus?

    • +2

      Select "Australia Post Standard Parcel" instead of Express. Luckymi will still ship it Express.

      • thanks, I didn't think I chose express… missed it now any way

  • Thanks OP got 2..

  • Does it work with Google assistant?

    • +1

      You would need a compatible Zigbee hub to integrate it with Google.

      Edit: Actually, I don’t think Google recognises switches/buttons yet, so you wouldn’t be able to kick off a routine. You would have to use some other software like the Xiaomi Mi Home app (but would still need a Zigbee hub).

    Thanks don't need, got 2 anyway.

  • +1

    I got a heap of these, they work great with home assistant. Time between pressing the button and things happening would be less than a second.

    • Nice, which Zigbee integration do you use?

      • Zigbee2Mqtt

        • Great, me too. Just grabbed a couple.

  • Just got 4 for $23 free shipping no eBay pls

  • If I have an M2 Aqara hub, could I use this to control Mirabella+Tapo lights?

    • I don’t think Aqara integrate with other company’s devices yet. When new Matter devices come out they will. For your existing devices you would need another platform like Home Assistant.

      • Was just looking at this video, still unclear, but maybe sometime later this month this would be possible? (I use Google Home at the moment)
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIXgvqCiJHc

        • Oh yeah, I forgot that Aqara were going to expose non-Matter devices to other Matter controllers. So yes this might be possible in the future. You would still need another Matter controller platform that accepts button presses as a trigger, and Mirabella/Tapo lights as an action. I’m pretty sure that Google doesn’t allow button presses as a Trigger yet, but they do have smart switches on their compatibility list, so I’m a bit unclear on that too.

          Home Assistant would integrate them all for you, but needs a server (like a Raspberry Pi) to run on.

          • @Hargain Bunter: Alrighty, hopefully I can get something up and running easily, otherwise I should do something like home assistant eventually anyway!

    I can get one piece fot the advertised $9.54, but two pieces are $13.44. Please fix.

  • +1

    Not sure I need more buttons but I'm sure they'll find a use.
    These work great with zigbee2mqtt and home assistant.

    • novice q - do you still need a hub? If so, any hub recommendations?

      • +1

        Yeah, you need a zigbee dongle connected to your home assistant instance. I use this sonoff. But Conbee II is well reviewed too.

      • Home Assistant SkyConnect might be another option.

  • Can you use an Amazon Echo Plus with the built in zigbee hub with these?

    Just be cautious.

          Hi I'm Julian Assange

  • Looks like out of stock. Missed it!

  • OOS :(

  • :(

  • damn, missed it!! :(

  • Thanks. Been meaning to replace my Ikea one. Hopefully this is better. Dunno what I'll use the spare one for though.

    • These are different to Ikea ones (depending on which Ikea one you have). These don't have Brightness control and only have single, double, triple, and and long press click options. They are great and have several.

      What a bargain with x2 for that price. Would have bought some more had they not sold out before I even spotted the deal. Dam!

      • I've got the basic Ikea one which is on/off. I find it works about 20% of the time through Home Assistant.
        Keen to see how these ones perform though.

        • These are flawless in HA……..for last year or so. I have x3. Much nicer than Ikea single click ones (in my opinion).

  • Damn, missed it.

  • +1

    The switch just easier to control instead of using the phone?

    • +3

      Well yes as saves grabbing a phone and opening an App. This can sit in a convenient location for all to use PLUS can manage multiple devices.
      Plus if using the likes of HomeAssistant and as an example only, I set "Long Press" to turn off All lights in home, set TV Power socket to off etc, and turn on B/room light. Handy when hitting the sack.

    • with the phone,

      you need to put in your pin or use your pretty face to unlock the phone, tap on HA app, look for <whatever> device….

      with the switch, tap it. Done.

    Back in stock, but price is jacked

    • Oos again :(

  • Do these work with Smartthings hub? Or would you need to buy a new ecosystem hub?

  • I missed it, and I wish to share that these are of great use if you have a home-assistant.
    They have a functionality of :
    -single click
    -double click
    -and long hold single click

    And in very little time, you can configure them on home-assistant, a lot of automation/scripts/schedules etc. It's limited to your creativity.
    I'm sad that i missed it for that price :-(

  • Would these work with Hue? Or do you need to connect them via Home Assistant and get that to control Hue (as a bridge)?

    • No Hue and Aqara are closed systems (though there's some people have luck adding some non-aqara items to their hub. So you'll need Home assistant, or you might be able to use some routines if both connected to google or Alexa.

      • Thanks. Just started with the Hue setup and only registered things with home assistant so far. Not tried any real automation yet. Just having lights controlled through the app or Google assistant is kind of annoying so looking to get some buttons/switches/dimmers, but the Philips ones really push the prices up. If HA or something can make them all talk to each other though, that is great.

        • Yep, that's the beauty of HA. not locked down to any ecosystem. I can get my xiaomi button to turn on some Tuya wifi bulbs an also maybe put up my zemismart zigbee roller shade based on the light level from my ecowitt weather station…

  • Received today and compared to the Aqara buttons that I already had, these are slightly larger in size but support a couple more functions:
    * short press
    * long press
    * double press
    * triple press
    * quadruple press
    * many press

    Whereas the Aqara buttons only supported first three.

    • You noted 6 options there but isn't it only four i.e. single, double, triple and long press.

      • Not in home assistant with zigbee2mqtt. You can definitely get "quadruple" and "many" as payloads to use in automations with these buttons.

        Not sure I'd ever use them, but they are there….

        • +1

          Learn something new, I didn't realise it had quadruple & quintuple presses. Nice & thanks for confirming.

          Now have to think how I could apply this. Perhaps as a light control. Single:Toggle On/Off. Double: brightness+10%, Triple brightness -10%, Quadruple: Set pre-definded colour, Quintruple: Set back to default Colour. Poor button will be clicked to death :-)

      • Sorry I should have stated I was using HomeAssistant. Not sure about what gets exposed via the Xiaomi hub/gateway but there are 6 functions in HA.

        Great for controlling multiple devices/scenes via a single smart button.
